Absolutely Nothing is a bizarre (game?) not too dissimilar to a modern art piece. You are given a blank screen, and the instructions to do absolutely nothing, with a goal to win absolutely nothing. This experience encapsulates absolutely nothing into (game?) form. This (game?) truely is a one of a kind, and is the pinnacle of minimalism and non-game design.
The gameplay of Absolutely Nothing poses a bold question to the player... "What the hell is going on?", as you will struggle with the reality that there is in fact no gameplay, after all it is Absolutely Nothing, and you may make of that what you will.

Scam, it's a total rip-off! You expect absolutely nothing when you buy it, but that’s not how it goes. I was expecting nothing, but they gave me a game to play, and I won! They didn’t give me what I was expecting or what I wanted. All my money went down the drain. Don’t ever buy this! Unfortunately, it’s just a game. Absolutely Nothing is one of, if not the best, examples of ludonarrative. The ludonarrative is the interaction between the gameplay and the narrative, which is shown beautifully here. Lacking dialogue, lacking an environment, lacking characters and having the game itself consist of two sprites, Absolutely Nothing still easily and strongly presents a story out of ludonarrative alone. I've always appreciated ludonarrative elements and this easily captures everything I like about a good story game.2 found this helpful

This is a masterpiece. I love the art style and the entire gameplay (sound, visuals, action, ...). This is definetly a tripple A (AAA) Game. Please do not sell your soul to EA or Ubisoft and create a sequel to this masterpiece. Im literally crying right now because this game gave me my inner peace.
