Adam Waste

[h1]Introduction[/h1] Adam Waste has proven to be a weird experience so far. Certainly not a waste of my time, since that would have been a lame pun, right? In anycase, it’s a rare example of a game being hindered by a seemingly insignificant aspect which gets on players’ nerves eventually. How could a title with a promising storyline, setting and protagonist still disappoint me? Two words: camera controls. I’ll go much further into detail below. For now, allow me to acknowledge that Adam Waste is a decent offering from its developer, considering that Blackturn Ltd. also released Runeyana and Grey Phobia on Steam. Those two were more than just rough around the edges, to put it mildly. What my reviews aim for when it comes to a dev team that’s had some experience already, is to look for any signs of improvement in their development process and even creative thinking. Please FIX THIS GAME! I really want to play this one, it seem so great,but there are so many bugs that make this game unplayable. What about Full screen mode? What about option to select resolution that actualy work? What about walk model that doesn't stuck at every step. What about progress save that don't stop you from moving? What about better FOV settings and actualy seen what Im pressing that E key is too small to see ingame. Anyway I wait on Woovit to be able to get this. I'm glad I did.

Not only did I encounter many issues during my brief time playing it (0.4 hours as you can see, and only 4 minutes of that was salvageable for footage), but after I released my video I received a sudden outpouring of negative feedback on my channel. I received multiple hateful comments and messages from the person who handled the Woovit page, and for weeks after that video was uploaded I received immediate dislikes after uploading each and every video, some of them accompanied with further messages by the same person until I finally blocked them. I can excuse bugs or incomplete content. I can even understand, accept, and excuse being upset over negative reviews - I know that it hurts to put time into something and for other people to not see it in the same light you do. But I cannot condone nor excuse the way this developer has …

Gawsh this game is bad. The gfx are uninspired, and lack in contrast; the sounds are just a few sfx samples mashed together with bad bg music sometimes, the controls suck, the story seems uninspired (though I didn't get very far before I was turned off too badly)... This is a perfect example of how NOT to make a game. Don't buy. Don't take it even if it was free.

The game in it's current form is not good. It has so many downsides : no music adjustments, bad aim controls, bugged face animations, touch polygons to press E to activae stuff, Immortal mutants and generic story elements. It's kinda like doing a lot of things bad (shoot, sneak, beat'em, "puzzle", story) instead of a single thing good.
