This game is absolutely fantastic in every aspect. The story is good, the characters are good. The gameplay is good as well, with interesting party members and fights that are not trivial while at the same time not frustratingly difficult (Medium difficulty). The artstyle is quite nice and the voice acting is really well done as well. And yes, the yuri content is also good. Vera is a great protagonist and the way she carries herself and acts as a Charm Witch is such a refreshing take on the seductress archetype. Big parts of the story actually change based on which character route you're doing, and the NG+ system is really handy for experiencing all the other routes while minimizing the amount of repeat gameplay you need to do. Overall a hidden gem that I am really glad I decided to play. Absolutely recommended.

You will have to fight a lot in this game, and on normal difficulty some of those fights tend to be on the more challenging side, to the point that I had to lower the difficulty for a few early boss fights. The game also has varied puzzles, generally not trivial ones. It is also quite a long game, especially if you want to do all the sidequests and challenge / puzzle maps in the emerald maze. The first playthrough took me a bit over 30 hours. The game has a free 18+ scene DLC. I naturally played with that installed. As such, I don’t know how those parts of the game are censored – whether those scenes miss altogether, or just contain some censor bars. The naughty part is on the tasteful side, focusing more on the intimacy rather than some rough action. Also those scenes are all fully voice acted. Pretty darn solid game. The story is good, with multiple plotlines being based on the character you decide to go with. The plot of it was revealed early on because of the route I chose to take [spoiler]Lyra[/spoiler] but that hasn't hampered my enjoyment going through every route with some consequences during them that can affect those endings. Characters are really good, with voice acting in their most important parts of their plotlines too and exceptional representation between some of them. Listing their arcs to the best of my memory. [spoiler]Lyra is Transfem, who is a childhood friend of the Vera with their own story of acceptance and the fear of being socially rejected by both others, but primarily Vera. Reniel is outright Lesbian whose story when you pick them gave them a ton more insight into their own hardship and grows their character into being more than a background one. Celia is Vera's own imagination in the story, their own creation due to Vera wanting to be accepted themselves while having to put up a front the entire time, and honestly their story just feels bittersweet in the end. After five hours I can comfortably say I'd rather be doing something else. Even Reniel's ferocious set of abs can't keep me playing.

Saw it on sale for 5 Euros, read the reviews AND I noticed that most of them had quite the playtime (20+ hours). And, yeah, if you do pick it up and enjoy it, you can easily sink 20+ hours into it! Now, I'm not gonna comment much on the main story - let's just say it has its ups and downs. Some of the side quests are really funny and the recurring characters make the world feel much more realistic. The character customization isn't the best, but there are some hidden items that have really strong effects! I was expecting the same old "this item is better because it has higher stats", but that's actually not the case, since those effects make up for the potentially lower stats! The combat does get a bit boring later on, and I just switched to easy because it wasn't as much challenging as it was boring to spend more time dealing with enemies that pose no real threat other than having very high HP pools. It's also pretty amazing how they managed to create so many extremely elaborate puzzles in such an outdated game engine, even if I do feel like some of them could've done with being less cryptic.
