Agrivore: Incremental Farming is a poor incremental games. At a glance it did look good, but I couldn't have been further from the truth. In 3 hours that it took to beat the game, I've forgotten how many gripes and bugs I've found, but I'll do my best to recall all of them... As far as bug goes, sometimes I've had the gameplay loop on top of the 'results' screen... a few time I was about to buy some upgrades in the upgrade screen and the gameplay just started IN THE UPDATE SCREEN, without the farm's background. Wow. Aside from that, some weapon graphics are totally broken (the gun skill one and probably others as well). As far as bad decisions go: Why are the runs like 15 seconds each until the very end of the game??? Why do crops that gives more money have skill trees that cost more money to unlock, in the end... they're just not really any better? The 2x and 3x speed options in the menu doesn't help, the rounds last 10 and 5 seconds approximately with it enabled! Oh and the worst for last: Why in the world would you NERF THE PLAYERS FAVORITE CROPS? If you constantly pick your favorite crop when building your skill tree/farms, the crops take 50% longer to kill and you start with…3 found this helpful
A fun game that gets ruined by inconsistencies and bugs. many upgrades have bugged visuals, and some upgrades even make you worse unintentionally like the late game Greenhouses you can obtain, taking longer and longer to pay out with their set rewards. a cute and very interesting incremental that lacks the polish to be worth finishing for me.3 found this helpful
So far the worst Incremental i've played, its is tedious, slow and carries many bad design choices and bugs which can make progress near impossible. one such bug follows a terrible mechanic where picking the same crops for subsequent prestiges has downsides which is means the mushroom crop which speeds the already slow game up by a far margin is punished, by reducing its spawnrate which paired with increase spawnrate upgrades actually reduces the spawn rate more resulting rounds where only 1 crop spawns or sometimes 0. one of the worst parts is the final level of the farms which has a row of upgrades i didn't get to touch since i beat that stage on my first prestige on said farm. the game looks great at a glance but the many issues, caused it to be an awful incremental.2 found this helpful
i personally enjoyed this game but there are indeed many bugs. Tractor is present even though it wasnt selected, but most of the bugs i encountered were when gameplay was paused. When a round ends and you hit space at the same time, a new round starts but your still in the end round menu. This can also happen in the pause menu as well, gameplay is active but you're still in the pause menu. I havent played far enough to encounter more bugs but i would believe other people that there are more But despite all the bugs, the game looks nice, plays relatively nice, incrementing is a steady fast pace, and the best part is the music, i LOOOVVEE it heh. I will say though that having only one music track can be detrimental to how well people are gonna withstand listening to the same track over and over again so i suggest adding more music With all that being said, very good concept and i hope that things get patched in the future!
Goated Game, Very fun to complete.
Got all 9 achievements in 15 hours of play, taking my time to explore different builds and find what felt fun to run. Charming personality and thus a win in my book.
