Info:

[th]Content & Value[/th] [th]It took me 120 minutes to complete AirLoveEngine, and I earned 100% of all achievements as of 11. October 2025. For those interested in achievements: It's quite easy to 100%, but you definitely have to play around a bit in order to get them all[/th]

Mode Single Player

Controller Recommended? No, you can use KB/M

Is it worth buying? Yes. It offers a liminal atmospheric experience for 5€, but is nothing mind-blowing. I would recommend to wait for a sale

Follow our Curator page, IndieGems, to see more high-quality Indie reviews regularly.
AirLoveEngine is presented as a dream simulator — an atmospheric, liminal world in which players can explore dreamscapes and "real dreams". The concept of wandering through surreal landscapes and confronting odd imagery while gradually piecing together "narrative or symbolic threads" is appealing to me. It sounds more impressive than it actually is, but I love thinking about some of the endings I got. The dream logi…
Follow "First Person Exploration and Puzzle Games" for more games like this!
This is less of a game and more of a "student experiment in learning how to make games". Here are the levels I tried: Level 1: Tight platforming where you jump on boxes to get to the top of the big box Level 2: Tight platforming where you jump on lamp posts to get to the top of a building Level 3: Outrun some bubbles in a large, plain area with nothing in it Level 4: Walk across some tightropes and then jump on some jumping pads I stopped there, as you can clearly see where this game is going. There's no story, and no interactions outside of basic movement. There's not even a HUD. The entire game has an annoying, extremely overdone CRT effect, as seen in the screenshots. Overall there's not a lot here to recommend.

as someone who helped worked on the game i feel as my opinion is bias but i did enjoy the process of making this game i do like the liminal aspect of this game it feels creepy in a way when you're playing each level the game really is a new experience nothing like anything i've played before i highly recommend if you have the five bucks this game is great

A very simple and very short 3D platformer. Overall it was okay just to vibe there for 30 minutes though the CRT effect was a bit too much. Dev should've either reduced it or given players the option to disable it.

A dream between a dream between a dream between a Get me out... GET ME OUT ! A pretty basic game where your sole objective is to wake up... (Hello Superliminal) Its way too short like most levels, but the aesthetic is pretty good. I wish it had longer levels rather then short burst levels...

I recommend this if you like the visual style. Excellent visual design, dense atmosphere, and an moody soundtrack. The level design and game objectives aren't particularly impressive or polished, but immersing myself in the audiovisual aspects of each level was very enjoyable. I also enjoyed replaying some levels to find secrets. There was a bit of clunkiness to the platforming mechanics, mostly due to the ground detection. Sometimes I couldn't jump even though I thought I was standing on a solid surface. Maybe a bit of "coyote time" needs to be added for the ground detection to prevent this issue. There are also some sections where you have to very precisely avoid certain moving objects which I didn't like all that much. Also, full gamepad support would be a nice thing to have. --- I like the overall concept of the game and I think it has potential beyond this game. I could see a similar game being super compelling if it had even more inventiveness and polish applied to the game design aspects. This game toys with the idea that each dream has its own rules and gameplay style, but I think it could be expanded and refined. Maybe there could also be more of a puzzle box side to t…
