This is overall neutral 6/10 and not recommended. (Positives) + Several creative ideas + Delivered some good revelations especially in chapter 2 + Chapters are connected + Length is ok + Solo dev (lots of criticisms get passed) (Neutral) ? Most of the 'knowledge' are abilities. The actual gameplay looks like you have to decrypt the messages said by NPCs or murals on the wall, both are pretty straightforward in the first two chapters ? Not horror but there are moments that are quite scary (Negatives) - Art style is not consistent, particularly for murals - Chapter 3 is simply bad, nothing else to say - No save files; it won't take too long to start all over again, but what's the point of not making save files in 2026? - Naturality is missing (except for the core mechanics, which are inspired by mythology in reality). Many abilities are not intuitive, and many places of the world are left without explanations. - More storytelling is needed, to complete the world and the story itself - Some bugs (I've encountered one that you need to start over) - Use of swastika symbol is unnecessary and hurts the sales of this game. A true "Outer-Wilds"-like! I hate to just use another game to describe this one, but I think anyone who played Outer Wilds will know what that means! It's a game that will make you think as you explore a mysterious world to feed your curiosity and help you progress. There are these "Eureka!" moments where you realize you were staring a solution right in the face but were just thinking about everything the wrong way (or maybe not thinking at all lol) and I absolutely fell in love with those moments. Nothing feels as rewarding as figuring something out yourself instead of having constant checkpoints or markers telling you exactly where to go. Games like these are definitely some of my favorite types, and Amatsuko does everything well to foster that curious nature and hide those rewarding revelations. I quite enjoyed the graphics, reminding me of a PS1 era game. The art style is consistent and charming, with a somewhat abstract or surreal feeling to the some of the areas as well as the mechanics you use to navigate them. Unbelievable goonen amazing six-seven knowledge lock game

The graphics are terrible, but that can be overlooked, if the game itself would've been well-made. It's a terrible slop, as if 30 years of game development didn't happen. No mouse support, camera randomly switches to fixed mode and you have to change direction only to then change direction again. It could've been good in 1995, but now it's an unplayable piece of ♥♥♥♥. Author, please don't do anything like that ever again.

Fun game if you like narrative puzzles about solving the "rules" and "mechanics" of the world Only negative thing i felt throughout the game is how the rules are taught around 50% of the time, which is through images and videos randomly placed on walls, instead of a more immersive research document or a hint in the environment that indicates something (which does happen sometimes, but not 100% of the time)

Short walkthrough, and a great experience. But it still doesn't worth the price currently. We need a further update to fill the content.
