"Anatidae: To The Nest Level" is just like it says on the box, a duck themed 2D retro pixelcrap platformer. And I guess the first and most obvious thing here is the incredibly flawed premise of the game... see, ducks can fly. Who was to know? Oh, everyone? Ok. Unfortunately the accuracy of the premise was the most competently assembled part of this train wreck. Bad graphics meet janky controls and poor level design... of course there's a massive 50+ levels to the game, but more of a bad thing doesn't make it better. Itch has one job, and it's not a hard job, but they failed again... to keep amateur stuff in their weird hugbox where everyone claps and says "Good job!!!" at every bit of amateur drivel (which nobody actually plays) and away from gamers. Unfortunately this has leaked out onto Steam platforms and now gamers have to put up with yet another bit of poorly made amateur shovelware. This features really godawful pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter.
