Game runs very poorly on Steam Deck only took 2 minutes to request a refund on this game.

Here is my original post: "I can see such potential in this game. There are presently some bugs, and i stopped playing after three and a half hours because i consider the last bug i encountered game breaking. I couldn't deliver my crate of berries to either of the of the two villagers that can be highlighted. I tried many things and did a slow comb of the entire town and around it and there isnt some other villager im missing. Can't grind gold at a reasonable rate=im done until that is fixed. I find the grind to be a little bit much but the combat and graphics i find very enjoyable and it kept me engaged for over three hours until i encountered the game breaker bug. Reloading the game did not fix it, which is the final thing I tried. I still do not regret buying this on sale. Glad to give the developer some support, I feel they deserve it. They have been working hard since January." I want to like this game so bad, base buidling, RPG, survival elements. But the the graphics and smoothness needs to be touched up especially for a game that is top down. But I see the potential. Update how the game runs and I will change my thought on this. Right now its not ready for a full grind.

Edit review: Played the game again. It's in a much better spot than it was in my first review. I was able to build a house! I think it's worth the asking price. Mess around with it and give the dev some time to cook. Original review: I like the concept. I like the art style. But this game is Raw AF. I can't figure out how to craft basic tools. Can't figure out how vendors work. None of the vendors in my first town had basic tools. so I could not get wood or stone to craft work benches. I will not refund because I'm hoping the dev can polish this game because I think it has good potential. Also I am giving thumbs up so it can get some positive momentum but I would not recommend the game just yet

The game is very pretty, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it. Combat is super clunky. Your character has some crazy forward momentum when swinging a weapon while mobs do their best to stand inside of you. Regular attacks seemed completely pointless and spamming your secondary attack is more productive and effective (for the warrior class, at least). Resource collecting is very tedious. Sometimes, stone, wood, and sticks 'explode' away from trees and rocks after you harvest and they get stuck under the terrain, other harvesting nodes, or they simply disappear entirely. The very limited tutorial tells you to find a water source, but despite finding a river and wading into it, I couldn't drink from it. You either build a well for drinking water or buy over-priced water from the consume vendor in town. Crafting is also tedious. I couldn't build a tent, despite having all the required resources; I kept getting a message that I didn't meet the building requirements. There is no que for crafting items or crafting in bulk (that I could find), so you have to sit there and hand-craft all 30 of those raw meats into edible food. It's not a bad game and will likel…

Since this is now cheaper than a bread during autumn sale, i picked this up despite the negative reviews because it looks so pretty. And that is what it does, it looks pretty. After character creation the "next button" does not work, and if you do not think about trying to double click your character when it is made, you won't get into a world at all. Eventually i played for an hour, had to stop playing as the game decided i needed the Dutch language (which is correct given my location) but they did not make sense at all and seem to have been done using google translate. Edit: after reporting this the translations are gone for now and we can all play in english at least. Quick respond from the dev, they sorted this within a few hours. I'm not refunding because i got it for 1,47 euro, and i am still willing to give it another go if they decide to take my feedback and bug reports seriously and work on them. I am not recommending buying it in the current state either. Not worth the money they normally ask for this.
