About ANLIFE: Motion-Learning Life Evolution
ANLIFE is an evolution simulator featuring block creatures that shuffle around awkwardly under a physics engine. There’s no complex ecosystem like in typical life sims. Take the role of a god—lend a hand to these creatures or call down meteors—and calmly watch their evolution unfold, as if peering into a miniature sandbox.
Block creatures powered by physics
All they do is chase after food, yet their simplicity is oddly charming. Like a baby learning to crawl, these block creatures fumble and flail as they learn to move. Cheer them on as they grow more adept through the physics engine.Enjoy the freedom of being a god
As a god, you can help them out, summon meteors, or even play a little mischievous. Shape the world however you like, guided by your own whim.A tranquil, healing time
No story, no complex ecosystem, no goals. Simply relax in a soothing atmosphere and watch these creatures do their best to live.Evolution simulation
Creatures that learn to move effectively toward food will survive, reproduce, and pass on their traits. Through each generation, their bodies gradually evolve. What Steam players say

SUCKS1 found this helpful
The evolution is pretty much non existent. I was expecting more adaptation, but the creatures I made could not even go up a small hill. Also the content is way too little for the price.1 found this helpful
squiggly guys go brrr
Its a game about evolution, its slow paced, the creatures are silly and cute. But if i had a penny for every time i looked on the other side of the map and saw a new creature that i didn't even help evolve id have SO MANNY PENNIES. I have like these weird sky elephant thingies, and these weird land creatures that have big ol muscle arms and BIRDS (but square) also water snakes but their face is their butt.... its weird alright. anyways if you want to be a zoologist in your very own ecosystem, this game is for you. just be patient. it will happen, and pay attention to the tool tips. this game is pretty CPU heavy btw, lots of physics calculations and the likes EDIT: id like to edit my review by saying though my rig is on the upper mid range (i think?) it uses very little of my resources. about 34-50% of my gpu at max graphics (60fps limit, helps with cpu pref i think?) and 29-50% of my cpu, many of my cores/threads see higher than normal usage while this game in particular is running. should have absolulty NO issue running this on a less capable rig so long as you keep your creature counts lower than 70(give or take )XD
its relaxing and silly :)
