Very solid puzzle platformer. There are a few performance issues like occasional stutters and freezes, maybe due to Java issues, but they're not too bad and don't really interfere with the gameplay.

"Antiflux" is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This platformer is a little sci-fi themed puzzle platformer with a few gimmicks in it, that seems to have at least partially sincerely made, but the presence of reviews from known Russian fake review accounts at the same time this carried a price tag casts a shadow over any attempt to see this as a genuine, ethical product. The gameplay itself is poor, janky, and unpolished, adding nothing to an obsolete format. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. The graphics aren't great, 2.5D retro looking imagery... the 3D graphical element adds nothing to the poor 2D visuals. Игра "Antiflux" — оригинальная стратегия с элементами головоломки. Геймплей захватывает: нужно управлять потоками энергии, противостоять врагам и развивать базу. Графика минималистична, но яркая, а музыка создает атмосферу напряжения. Увлекательные миссии и разнообразные механики делают игру цепляющей. Однако сложность некоторых уровней может отпугнуть новичков, а баги в меню немного портят впечатление. Рекомендую тем, кто любит логические задачи и стратегическое мышление.
