About Arcadia Fallen II

Seven years after the dramatic events in Anemone Valley, the political situation surrounding magic has reached boiling point within the Empire. At the Seven Winds Academy, however, life goes on undisturbed by outside influences. Here, the students’ biggest worries are exams, job prospects, and who might be taking whom to the New Year’s Gala, but when a curious group of seniors stumble upon a secret hidden within the castle, their priorities for the year change in an instant... Explore a brand new adventure as a mage student of the Seven Winds Academy and experience a story that can be enjoyed by new and returning players of the series. Choose from three different magical disciplines, and let your choices shape the personality of your character as you navigate school life during a time of great change. As you uncover the story of Arcadia Fallen II, you will decide how you respond to the people around you and the events that unfold. Tone labels help you avoid unexpected consequences, and choices with significant impact on the story are highlighted. But no matter what you decide to do, there are no “wrong” choices and no dead ends. Only you can find the path that is right for you.

Classrooms & Night Runs

Your chosen magical discipline will affect your character's upbringing, what locations they are familiar with, and what skills they bring to the team. This and more will influence puzzles throughout the game and challenge you in different ways depending on the choices you make in each playthrough. No true boarding school experience is complete without a bit of rule-breaking! Sneak out at night with your friends and discover the secrets the old castle holds. If you’re daring, you might pick up some juicy gossip as well.

Friendships & Romance

 • The game features five romanceable companions.
 • The romances are LGBTQ+ friendly. Date whomever you wish, no matter how you choose to present in the game, or just stay friends if romance is not your thing.
 • Form deep platonic connections with all the companions you meet along the way, and help them with their troubles as the school year progresses.
 • An incredible cast of voice actors bring their talents to your friends, enemies, rivals, and potential love interests.

I really love this game! Pros: love the characters, the setting is cute, the story is engaging, the puzzles are easy, and it really caters to people like me whose power fantasy is defeat the Bad with the power of Friendship and Whimsy. Cons: It might be my age (late 20s) but unlike game 1 I have no interest in romancing any of these characters. Like game 1, if you want complexity in your world-building politics...not much to be found. Neither: Game 1 had (to me) rather tricky puzzles and so far these have been really easy. Overall, 8/10, plus half a point for the cats.

The first game was great, but this one is a few steps above. Really liked the story, the characters and art. Would like to point out voices - I dont know how, but this indie game have better VO than some AAA games. The banter between characters is always a pleasure to listen to. Literally there is no VA that made me feel like im playing indie project. The characters themselves is the cornerstone of the game - I can't put into words how much I loved them. Some complaints tho: 1) Wish that the romance would play a bigger part. More dialogues and choices would be nice, including comments on your relationships from other characters. Its better that the 1st game, but still there is a room for inprovements. Especially if you choose Catherine (my beloved) - you cant add such a great character with so little interaction. I was starving to talk to her the entire game. The payoff was worth it, but again - we need more. 2) MC is no longer voiced. Sure, there are some short prases they throw in from time to time, but it would be great to hear more from them, like in the 1st game (at least at major choices) 3) Replay value - wish there was more. Like your major is not a big deal, the narrativ…

Having just binged through the game, I'm left with bittersweet emotions, and so to process them I decided to write a review. I definitely enjoyed my time with the VN, but there are several issues which persist across both instalments of this series that the devs and writers would do well to address if they want to make the third chapter (as seems inevitable) exceptional. POSITIVES: -The artwork. Gorgeous character designs are what initially caught my eye and made me buy the game. A couple of additional 'full art' moments like in other visual novels wouldn't go amiss, but the character designs themselves are great. It's a pretty game. -The narrative is a step up from the first game. I found myself getting bored and lost at times with the first game because the pacing was non-existent and the sense of threat and conflict lacklustre until suddenly everything erupted at the end. This time, there is a much more consistent sense of antagonism from very early on, which made the story much more engaging. The pacing was much improved and the start of the climax at least was satisfying because the sense of setting was excellent, and the sense of upheaval in that setting ther…

I absolutely adored playing through Arcadia Fallen II! The writing of the story is so much fun and kept me theorizing what would come next in the story, all of the characters were entertaining and so easy to connect with and enjoy how they grew and changed over the story. I'm looking forward to seeing what games Galdra Studios comes out with next, especially if they continue the story and lore of the Arcadia universe.

I love Hannah so much, but I really wished this one had a "top" female romance option for us lesbians such as Victoria from the first game.
