First things first, I named my sled-dogs Svanna, Svetlana, Angrboda, and Torbin- and they are the best doggos! The most striking feature of this game is the map- it's a large nearly flat snow-covered island of tundra, not that you'll see much grass; that makes all the landmarks features easy to see at long distances. It's no mystery that the primary gameplay loop is making your way over ice floes and past deep water to reach any and every landmark you can find. These are where you find the materials and blueprints to advance in the game. The other part is building a base where you can use your gathered materials to make money and advance in technology and utilities- in this way, just like the large landmark strewn map, it's very much like Subnautica, for the better. There's not so many different materials with which to craft so many different items- it's vastly simplified, and that's to its benefit, because there are only a few select items that are best for advancing in the game relatively quickly. The rest is an indulgence for the players sense of base-building and interior decorating. An interesting bit of gameplay design is that you can place "automated" extraction mac…3 found this helpful

Its good
Traveling across the arctic and managing your small base is a fun change of pace from more demanding survival games. The progression is enjoyable, although some parts can feel repetitive after a while. Overall, it's a cozy game that's best enjoyed when you're in the mood to take things slowly. Had a good time with it.
It's really really nice, I absolutely love the game, although I think travelling is a bit annoying and frustrating, even with the sled, it's really nice. Though I hope some new changes can be made - Allow checking map while on sled/other vehicles - Add an ending (like building a base that's automated enough to collect/generate resources to power/build a boat/plane to go back to your selected country or real life country. - Add base selection like minecraft, so players can choose which base to respawn at if they die by sleeping on the bed - More transport (please) - Make stuff cost money instead of hardware (or lower the hardware needed, and add a money price tag) - More optimization for lower-end PCs - Hardcore mode, where polar bears etc spawn to attack you, and other entities that may try to ruin your progress or base Other than that, the game is amazing and addicting.
The user interface is very poor, and it’s hard to know where to start without any kind of tutorial. The game seems to be updated every once in a while, but there are practically no visible changes. Buying this game for more than a dollar just isn't worth it.
