It's almost a game :)

I first got this game without a clue of what fighting games were. And dropped it thinking it was a bad game. But after coming back to it with knowledge of what fighting games were (and a Leverless controller) I feel like such an idiot for dropping this game as its fantastic. Pure peak

A truly unique and wonderful entry into the vast fighting game library. If you love the genre, you owe it to yourself to try it. It's clearly made with a lot of love by a fan of fighting games.

Honestly fantastic. One of the most limited fighters yet in that there's only a Versus and Training mode but the combat feels great and there's no real issues without jumping since you can dodge quickly as much as you want. Same dodge for everyone but it looks cool nonetheless. Besides that, every characters feels different, looks cool, and fights impressively. The Lil' Slime that fights with a broadsword with the skill of Conan the Barbarian (ie highly skilled but brutal) is one of my faves, and then probably the samurai frog. Doesn't matter who you pick though, every fight is visceral. Bonus, it's easy to get into without all the complex systems, but that may be limiting after a while. For a pick up and play fighter it's just an easy 8 or better for me. Grab it full price or on discount either way it's money well spent, presuming you're okay with nothing more than Versus.

It's too bad this one isn't being developed any more, but it's really, REALLY fun for what it has. I don't think I've ever played a fighting game with a smoother combo system. Despite its development being halted, if you want a fast-paced local vs fighting game, this may work for you.

Fun to play locally with friends, good feel, my favorite indie fighter out there. Knowledge gaps don't really happen. The dash macro stops working when bound to another control. The default layout is nice on a controller, but that's a real deal-breaker for a lot of keyboard and box users. May be adjustable with Steam's custom control layout option.
