This roguelike RPG is AMAZING! The battles are a good mix of standard encounters and more complex bosses that demand a good amount of thinking and strategy, and as the story unfolded it really got its teeth in me and I was still motivated to see it through after 75 hours, so figured a thumbs up was more than earned ^^ The art/writing, characters and mechanics still feel strong to me up to now, and I'll be in the Dungeon for awhile yet I think :D

Actual hidden gem and a very interesting story, If I'm not careful I'm pretty sure I'll sink more than 100 hours into this.

ark is cute and also the game has a cool story too sorry i forgot to write a good review like two months after i beat it actually what i like about it is mainly the story of the game, it pulls you in and makes you care about the characters, and you wanna find out what is gonna happen next. it goes from chapters 1 through 10, and slowly ramps up in stakes and interesting things and new information until it ends with a bang. chapter [spoiler]6[/spoiler] was my favorite. the gameplay is fine but had some snags. first of all the gradual acquiring of items on each character is a cool twist on the roguelike formula, considering that once you fill out their slots, its done and you cant change their loadout. what happens from this is you have to actually think a bit about what items you pick up and on which character to put them on in your party at the right time, to form coherent builds like basic attack dps, or elemental dps, or buffer/healer/support or something completely different. that was cool. the snag part is that there comes a point where you are wanting to be fully equipped for the last boss of a run, so naturally you want to fully explore each area to have the best odds of s…
