About Arkshot
Arkshot combines the fluidity and skill of an arena shooter with the lighthearted fun of a party game. It's Quake meets Duck Game. Unreal Tournament meets Smash Bros.
Armed with only a bow and arrow, challenge up to 3 of your friends on 14 unique maps, with 5 gamemodes to choose from. Grab powerups to gain an advantage over your opponents and become the master of the arc shot.
Don't forget to customize your character with unlockable masks, bows, and taunts to make yourself a foe your opponents will never forget.
Features
- Ballistically-modelled arrow physics that offer a unique challenge to the jaded palette of FPS gamers.
- Wildly differing level structures that are anything but your typical maze of brown corridors.
- A plethora of game-changing powerups, such as bouncing arrows, decoys, a reflective bubble shield, caffeinated coffee booster and pusher arrows.
- Latent tactics and emergent strategies that reward inventive players.
- A Stamina system where actions such as jumps, dashes and drawing back the bow all cost effort and require canny management.
- Sky Arrows that rain down on campers, denying them the option to skulk like wimps in hidey-holes.
- Hooded characters that have no feet and just float along, eerily.
Shoot your opponents in the knee. No servers, no players. Only way to play is with your friend. Instead, you should play Screencheat which have bots and fun gameplay.
12 found this helpful
Recommended FOR an extremely tiny price and for some motoric conditioning. It has neither players nor bots to play with, hence the apt "dead game" descriptions. The game runs well even on a potato. It is amazing how the creators never bothered to add bots to the game or handed out the source code to do it for them. You would be amazed how much people would be ready to do for a project like this just for a mention in the credits or the mere thought of having made something almost-decent into decent. I have seen games like this before, though they rarely run well. It would be great for the developers to finish the game by adding bots to it. They do not have to be good - even brain dead bots that stepped back and forth a little would be better than the nothing the game has now.
Don't bother. Another dead game without bots to make it playable. Why do so many tiny multiplayer only shooters refuse to add bots.
Really fun and skillfull!
Game is dead. I was the only player online... There's no one to play with. If you're gonna play a competitive/coop game with some friends, I feel like there are more live games you could do. Having said that, if you and your friends really love archery specifically, you might want to check this out.
