Writing a review for this game is tricky. This time there is an actual story even if it is mostly the usual save the planet. To do so you must mount your golem, rally your party of 4 (1 half golem, 1 human and 1 living doll) and fight through different dungeons. Oh, and you can disembark your golem and walk/fight with your character. At the beginning I found this an interesting game. You can equip your party and modify your golem. There are different golems you can find during the play. And you find a ship and an airship. Highest level: 99 But there are also some not so nice game features. Constant battles, you can't walk for more than a few steps before the next encounter. And seeing the same battle sequences some hundret times is....not very interesting. Incomprehensible for me is the use of extras and items. You and the other golem can fire some missiles (depending on the number of ammo your golem can carry.....but you can only fire them once in each battle. Worse you can only use a certain number of items in each battle. Now that isn't a big problem for most of the game. But the last boss is something different. I have never written a review for a game before. When I had the urge in the past I would see someone clearly said what I thought. Here I am however because... there is something good here. Not great. I have not finished the game yet, no where close, but there is a lot of fun to be had. If you played Rusted Emeth this is... that but better. If you played Metal Max on an emulator and want to hop into a tank you have to settle for a golem. Of course, to have said fun you need to first deal with what at times feels confusing story telling. You enjoy freedom as a player to go collect bounties and follow the story line independent of each other. Yet you get the feeling from time to time you must have skipped over something (for why else are the enemies suddenly so hard to fight?) or that something seems too far away and you must have gotten lost somewhere on the map. Game play is a standard JRPG. Get a quest, fight a dungeon full of monster, fight a boss, get new gear, repeat. Here we get golems. Think power armor or a tank. Wide variety of them each you can customize, and you party expands allowing each member to have a unique golem to fight in. It is fun. Right up until you hit a wa…

Armed Emeth is a very easy and unique RPG game. I have got all achievements. Pros: +Good pixel art. +An attractive story. +Interesting battle system. +No difficulty in the boss fight. +GLP shop provides many useful items. Cons: -Poorly battle animations. -Limit use of items in the battle. Tips: 1. Buy Energy All Max or Regain Max from GLP shop, then sell them to normal shop. It's a quick way to earn money. 2. Buy five or six Champion's Chests. You can get a lot of experiences after battle. 3. Most of bosses will not hold a turn if you throw all special ammunition on their faces. Use the Frost Bullet and Jamming Bullet first. My favorite combination is: 1 Frost Bullet, 1 Jamming Bullet, 1 Acid Bullet and tons of Rockets.

You can feel the Metal Max influence in this game, from the tanks being replaced with golems, with there still being bounties to hunt, even the setting inspired by it with there being sprawling deserts combined with stuff like forests and mountains and other biomes like it. If you're a fan of the old Metal Max games and want more or even just like mecha i would highly recommend it. The only thing I can detest is the difficulty, i feel like there's a little bit of a curve with every bounty that requires some level grinding but thats my only problem.

This game is one of the best modern 2d RPGs I have played. I was a huge fan of Robotrek and get that sorta vibe. The story is neat, reminds me of Xenogears in a way... The music is catchy, I get amped for grinding! Customations for your human and golems alike are really fun. Thank you forthis!
