Overall: Basic game with not much quality of life or real incentive that would make you want to play more levels.
Positives
+Progress is saved as you go back to the selection menu. +Progression percentage displayed on the selection menu. +Completed colors disappear.
Observations and suggestions
~Would have been nice to have shortcut for the different colors ~Would have been nice to change from symbols to numbers. ~Would have been nice to have hints to finds missing stitches. ~Would have been nice to see the progress in the selection screen, not only the percentage.
Negatives
-No options to change only the sound effect or music independently. Only a master volume. -Escape does not bring up the menu. -Unpleasing sound effect choices (menu, stitching) -Weird panning with different zoom level. My mouse is "slidding away" depending on the zoom level I am while I drag around. -Can't slide to stitch multiple tile at once, need to click each, one, individually. -There is an option though to "paint bucket" a whole patch of stitches all at once, but this is a different thing from what I was talking. -No confirmation before delete the progress of one level. -…

Overall this is a nice game, and I recommend it to people who like cross-stitch/pixel art games. There are a couple issues I have had with it as well that don't mess with the core enjoyment of the game, but can be frustrating. Namely the lack of a windowed mode in settings. Without the in-game option, my system does not have a way of minimizing the game, so I have to leave completely every time I want to do anything else on my computer (if there is a way around this I would love to know). Then when I re-open it, the pattern I was working on has completely refreshed symbols. A bit of a weird quirk for an otherwise solid experience.

the first few sets of art are cute and seemingly handmade, but a lot of the later art seems AI generated bc it doesn't seem cohesive and some of the pieces look off or downright ugly. the UI is quite ugly and clunky, and the volume slider for the music and sounds (which are one master slider instead of one for each) doesn't actually turn the volume down all the way, there's always still a sliver left. which sucks bc the sound effects are obnoxious and i don't want to hear the same track looping. also the background option doesn't take up the whole screen, only part of it. so you can zoom out and still see the default moving background, which is quite distracting for a game where you need to focus on certain things. i 100%'d it just for my own personal satisfaction but i wouldn't recommend it. it's cheap tho so if you want it get it idk i'm not your dad do whatever

As a cross stitcher i approve. It's so chill, love all the pictures. Turn on some music or podcast and click, click, click :)
