Hitting invisible targets with bombs still depends too heavily on luck. If you glance at the game's pictures and think they appear familiar, you have likely already played something similar. The game's entire mechanic is based on the game Battleship, in which you bomb tiles on the grid to sink ships. That is exactly what you are doing here, with the exception that you are now placing ground units. The principle remains the same. You begin by clicking and dragging units to any location you want. There are no constraints, so you can arrange units together, around corners, or elsewhere. Although the game begins with small 5x5 grids with limited placement options, it quickly evolves to far larger battlefields and armies. Once you are satisfied with the placement, you need to click the "start" button. You can now take turns with your opponent and drop bombs by clicking on squares on the grid. The winner is the one who destroys all of his opponent's units. If a unit is stretched across multiple tiles, it will burn when hit. A neat little battleship-clone with artillery pieces and upgrades. Definitely worth it if you get it cheap. I'd love to see a further development of this idea, with updated graphics and more choices along the way.
