About Ashes Of Idunn: Tales Of Fimbulwinter

Far away from home, sailing through unknown waters. I ask the Gods to show me mercy.
My family, my people. Consumed by the tongues of fire. I never should have left them.
There may still be hope. They may still be, somewhere…
Only she can help me find the way… the way home.
Gods give me strength, the strength to regain what I lost.

Ashes Of Idunn: Tales Of Fimbulwinter is a sneak peek into the future of the Ashes Of Idunn Metaverse.
In this experience, you will follow the Berserker into battle in search of his people. After the fight with the Troll, the Berserker seeks the Voelver to get answers.
The world of Tales Of Fimbulwinter is vast and offers different types of animal life and vegetation.
You can choose to explore the world freely but beware, some enemies might be camping around the corner.
Enemies will try to stop your search. Thankfully, with the power of the Gods and your mighty axe, you can defeat them in old-fashioned melee combat
But be careful, too many enemies at once may cause your demise.
Low on health? With some mix of natural ingredients found in the world and a little rest at the resting runes that will not be a problem for long.
These magical runes have the power of giving great comfort to our Berserker, this way, he is able to rest and regain his strength.
The path may seem straightforward, but sometimes even the greatest need a guide. The runes will serve as a guide for your travels within this realm.
Just follow the runes and you will eventually find your way to the Voelver and your people.

Had fun with the experience and need more Ashes of Idunn? Do not fret, there is more to come...

"Ashes Of Idunn: Tales Of Fimbulwinter" is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "NFTs". NFTs is apparently a blockchain/NFT mining game (banned on Steam), and this tech demo is the "first sample is free" from the cryptobros pushing this yet-to-be-released scamware on gamers. The developers website explicitly says "Our approach is simple: create engaging play-to-earn games that integrate seamlessly with blockchain technology, offering both fun and financial benefits." How far would you trust these cryptobros to install their software on your gaming PC? NFT games are banned on Steam, and while Valve does not aggressively enforce this ban, what the developers are trying to do here is disgusting. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not the main NFT/blockchain miner the developers are planning, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertisin…

Great start, has good potential to be way better! I can't wait to see what you guys do in the future! the game has left me wanting more content and has the potential for better mechanics, The inventory system doesn't seem to work so whatever Salve our main berserker friend wants us to make for him I can't seem to do. I hope you guys are still working on this. I'm very excited to see what comes next!

This game demo was more and more fun as you play it over again. Lots of potential even though it’s more optimized for higher end computers. The full game when it comes out I can see being really fun. Can’t wait to play the full version!
