About ASTRAL
Welcome to ASTRAL (Early Access), a futuristic first person shooter with a unique vision of the future. Embody a robot and engage your adversaries in unique environments, both on earth and off-world locations.
ASTRAL is a game that embodies a deep love for everything that is futuristic and vehemently unapologetic about it.
It started around 2022 when Edon (myself) opened Unreal Engine and decided to bring his visions and designs to life. What better way than to create an interactive experience where you can feel what it's like to be a robot fighting on a secret off-world base somewhere in the cosmos. With the critical help of a few individuals (less than a handful) we were able to bring something together that feels exciting and fresh. This is a sci-fi FPS made by people who love gunplay, are excited about the future, love technology, awesome weapons, robots and engaging action.

Had the pleasure of trying the game in it's early state, and the gameplay already feels very nice to control ~ Sounds are crisp, animation is clean, and the movement feels smooth as well. I really like how they didn't go to crazy with the UI, and how the game is not very big to download which is a relief for anyone who doesn't have a lot of space on their PC ~ I did encounter a glitch where when I pressed escape after changing my controls the UI disappeared and I had to hard exit the game, but I'm sure things like that will be fixed quite easily soon. Will definitely keep an eye on it and would recommend~!!1 found this helpful
Appreciate the obvious work put in1 found this helpful
It's very early in development but I see the vision and I'm here for it1 found this helpful
This game needs work. Maybe its just my system but it runs like ♥♥♥♥. Muzzle flash obscures your vision, sniper hit reg feels off, movement feels odd, etc. It has a lot of potential but it needs an overhaul.1 found this helpful
A world brought forth from the mind of a master designer, with nearly all assets hand crafted by the creator, the attention to detail and nuance in gameplay is hard to match, highly impressive for a small team of very talented creators.
Finally!! An FPS game that feels like the OG great like Quake! The amount of work put into this and by 2 Developers is incredible! Love the Visuals and feel of the game. It's a breath of much needed fresh Air Comming from the "AAA" shooters that do to much of the wrong thing, it's wonderful to see a shooter that is doing the right thing for once.. Being a shooter! The progress and road map have me excited!! For 15$ this is an absolute steal and will support this game anyway I can but it's a legitimate masterclass of what made FPS fun in the 90s and what the genre has been missing imo.
