Astral Lodge

A short and free, 5-10 minute escape room, with a trippy artstyle. I want to see more of this, but it doesn't try to be more than a simple and short little game. Maybe the devs next game (fingers crossed).

Deep beneath this game I believe it specifically exists for occult purposes. There is a machine that has you matching up tarot suites that's randomized every time you engage with the machine. It seems reminiscent of other games I've played regarding occult decks of cards, but this one seems to explicitly use tarot suites as a mechanic. I had two decks next to me, including one I seldom use (Tarot de la Niot by Alexandra V Bach) I happened to buy one day. it wasn't the deck I was looking for but it was between this and a cottagecore deck. I figured since I use Tarot de la Nuit for shadowwork, I'd use your spread to see what comes, and boy did it come up virtually immediately. I figured out a new way to read tarot--I can use this machine as a fixed spread where I can use the minor arcana suites to augment specific themes of the drawn cards. I quite liked the experience. To be honest I put this game in my cart on a shopping spree during the last Steam Summer Sale because of its title--it quite set in my mind that this game was hiding a secret. I laughed, I cried, I Lodged. Astral Lodge is a simple, free game that is intuitive to pick up and play. I enjoyed it and saw the creator has another bigger game in the works - definitely adding to my wishlist!

Well THAT was tiny. Well made though, interesting to see what a full-length point and click from this dev would look like

Cool bite-sized adventure with a unique art style that really pops. Was short but fun. I recommend.
