About AstronTycoon2: Ritual
Build a village on hallowed grounds, in the year 2000 BC. Take care of the needs of the villagers and pilgrims that arrive to visit the holy place. Get enough food and other resources to run the village. Build monuments of various shapes from variouse stone types. Provide the villagers with clothing and tools made of flint, bone or bronze.
The game begins when the first shaman arrives on the hallowed land. Soon after, the first pilgrims will come. Expand your fame and resources for building other huts, altars and stone menhirs. If the villagers get angry or hungry, they will leave, so take care of their needs. Keep the villagers well fed, warm, relaxed and healthy. Produce jewelry and tools from a variety of materials and provide the villagers with clothing that keeps them warm.
Trade tin and copper and make tools and jewelry from stone or bronze. Send the villagers to hunting expeditions. Tame some animals. The Aurochses, predecessors of today's cows, can supply milk and food. Plant herb shrubs and trees.
Priests can examine the sun, the moon and the stars. Research will unlock new rituals and larger gatherings. New types of buildings are also unlocked through research. Summon new settlers, their wives, and let the kids train skills with their fathers.

If you like games like Dawn of Man and Banished, this game is NOT really for you. While it is a basic city builder with many of the same objects as these other games, it is more like a clicker game than a strategy resource development game. You start out just having to click over and over and over again on herb trees in order to have enough resources to perform rituals. Then you have to click over and over and over on the women in your clan to make them cuddle their men to have babies. Eventually you get a herbalist who takes over the clicking for you and after that your herbs are so abundant you never have to click an herb again. Then when you get 3 buildings you can turn on auto-cuddle for your women and you don't have to click cuddle any more (though this doesn't seem to work particularly well). Then you start clicking on Oxen to tame them. Then you start clicking on planting trees. The early game is a carpal tunnel nightmare of clicking - you will be trying to figure out how to stop the clicking more than you will be trying to make your village survive. There just isn't the complexity in this game that makes other games good - this is trying to be in the builder genr…73 found this helpful
I want to like this game because it's different. The whole management from the point of view of a tribal shaman is very interesting. As it stands there's no game balance and not much gameplay, the price tag is also very optimistic. I don't think there's a real game here, more of a fishtank - you do the basic things and watch things evolve. For anyone looking for a challenging city builder/manager this game is a pass. Shame really.13 found this helpful
I really want to like this game, but I'm already stuck on the tutorial. Seems there's a bug that won't allow the "build" menu to close after planting a bush (stuck on pause) therefore I can't even finish the tutorial!! I went to discord server and there's nobody there, sooo.... I don't know if this is truly a bug, or something I'm doing wrong. Instructions are pretty straight forward so I think the game is buggy therefore I can't recommend a game that I can't even get through the tutorial on.4 found this helpful
I love this game. I found it pretty intuitive, got stuck a few times but I figured it out. The motto of this game is KISS, Keep it simple, stupid. It has a basic recipe that once learnt permeates the game and allows you to progress at a good rate. I didn't get all the achievements on my first play through and I learnt so much about where I should place things that I absolutely have to try again and I want to start from the beginning because, it's just that much fun to play! I can understand why some gamers may be frustrated with the game however I believe that has more to do with the current culture of gaming more so than the game. What I mean is, people are used to games that are tedious and arduous in nature. This game is casual, it has simple mechanics that are straight forward. If you can't maintain enough herbs, consider that every time they are watered, they grow. If you plant 100 plants then your workers have to water them to full and then chop them, it is inefficient. This is the first lesson of the game. If you cannot figure out that the management style is about efficiency, then you will not enjoy this game. As a disabled person, I have to be innovative and efficient …2 found this helpful
Really nice game from prehistory. Good tech tree based on ancient knowledges and Celtic rituals. Great atmosphere, sometimes too dark or foggy but nice and impressive. I like this game to move me to relaxed mood :)2 found this helpful
Boring and absolutely pointless, total waste of time.1 found this helpful
