About Avenger Sharks
Avenger Sharks is a retro twin-stick shooter. Featuring sharks. OUT FOR VENGEANCE!
Your fishy friends have been kidnapped (fish-napped?) by evil forces. Battle wave after wave of enemies as you fight to rescue them. Increase your chances by collecting power-ups, health potions and UPGRADES as you progress. Invoke FISH FRENZY as needed to even the odds, as well as any trusty friends you find along the way. These friends include a dinosaur. Why? Because we wanted to have a dinosaur in the game.

"Avenger Sharks" is yet another of literally thousands of 2D top down retro pixel wave survival shooters. There's a shark theme, but that doesn't matter much at all, a pixel blob is a pixel blob, no matter what it's supposed to represent. There's very little of interest here at all and nothing of note to differentiate this from hundreds of other, better top down shooters. This features really godawful, lazy pixelcrap "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. Insultingly, the developer insists that you should play this with a console peasant children's toy gamepad instead of KB+M. Developers should try to be aware which platform they're designing games for. It's the responsibility of the developer to ensure the game runs well on the platform they're selling it on, with the primary peripherals that PC …2 found this helpful
Fun, silly game that makes you lose track of time while playing! It’s best played with a controller. Highly recommend for a quick, entertaining way to pass the time!2 found this helpful
Avenger Sharks pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //a lot of difficult battles //could use more health drops and powerups //too many enemies constantly spawn //too many enemies/hazards fill the screen making it difficult to evade //good game Personal Suggested Purchase Price: Free To Play1 found this helpful
