"Baker Street Breakouts" is an exciting new game that puts players in the shoes of the world's greatest detective. It combines the thrill of an escape room with the storytelling of an adventure. Players must use their superior deduction skills and the ability to combine items to solve riddles and overcome obstacles. Fans of the original Sherlock Holmes stories will appreciate the many quotes and references to the classic tales, as well as the game's many pop-cultural references.
Sherlock is bored. None of the recent cases have been interesting enough to catch his attention. Until one day, when Sherlock receives a message from Moriarty that changes everything. What at first appears to be a classical "damsel in distress" situation, turns into a confrontation with his inner demons. Forced to play Moriarty's insidious game, Sherlock deduces his way through an old film studio to finaly face his arch nemesis.
The game is based on the classic Sherlock Holmes stories, and features many references to the original stories as well as other popular works. This engaging and immersive storyline will keep players hooked from start to finish.
One of the things that sets "Baker Street Breakouts" apart is its focus on puzzles and deduction. Instead of combat or grinding, the game challenges players to use their superior deduction skills and the ability to combine items in order to solve riddles and progress through the game. This makes for a unique and engaging gameplay experience that is sure to keep players on the edge of their seats.
The game features 2 playable characters, 18 NPC characters, and 10 rooms with approximately 1 hour of playtime each. Players will have to find, examine, and combine over 100 items as they make their way through the game. The game also features 18 music tracks and 40 puzzles to solve.

"Baker Street Breakouts: A Sherlockian Escape Adventure" is a puzzle adventure that plays out in Sherlock's universe. Indeed, it has a realistic escape room feeling along with its narrative. Some deduction skills are required to solve the puzzles and finish the game. In case you are stuck, the game can help you with a variety of hints or by providing you with a solving method; so even if you aren't the best or even good at this type of games, you can still complete it on your own. Regardless of the help system, the puzzles are well made and, after checking the space out, you have a clear idea of what you are supposed to do. The music is nice and appropriate to the game's tone. The graphics are simplistic but, they do the trick just fine! The game utilizes well almost all rpgmaker capabilities and it combines them well. It's fun and challenging. Sherlock references are quite a few but, they mostly get recycled with different words. I wouldn't call it "staying true to character" as Sherlock isn't so superficial, thoughtless or frivolous but, all things considered, I'd call him a more comical and exaggerated version of classic Sherlock. Pretty creative Escape Room game. I was honestly not expecting the puzzles to be this good. They were harder than those of most RPG-Maker games out there, but always made sense. The only flaw I can think of is that some words are misspelled, but that's a minor thing. I absolutely recommend it.3 found this helpful
Eventhough the plotline is a bit farstreched, this Sherlock-breakout-RPG merges detective work with thrilling puzzle-solving mechanics. The breakout-style gameplay provides an engaging experience as you unravel the puzzles from the perspective of our beloved master-detective.2 found this helpful
Baker Street Breakouts is not my cup of tea but if you are a fan of Sherlock Holmes (and are as smart as Sherlock) I do recommend this game to you. I felt dumb while doing it because it wasn't like most puzzles games i've played in my life. I remain neutral though and give it a 5/10
Too difficult sometimes because of spelling mistakes or puzzles that make no sense, not moon logic but story doesnt feel sherlocky
A nice detective Escape-Room puzzle game with an amazing story to it. Really enjoyed the game!
