Baobabs Mausoleum Ep.3: Un Pato en Muertoburgo

It seems like this is where the developer just gave up. It starts with a weird FMV section with no real idea of what you're supposed to do, followed by a puzzle with poor feedback, THE WORST driving section I've ever played, and ends with a Rail Shooter section that you need to play with a keyboard; no mouse. Same delayed controls, too. The renegade humor that I'd loved appears in smaller doses, too, and you spend more time than ever wandering around to short music loops wondering which identical object is the one you're supposed to interact with. Even the [spoiler]psychedelic alien skate park[/spoiler] was a chore to get through, and it didn't even have any minigames. It had more of those strangely adorable dancing bunny girls, so that's a plus, but its few benefits aren't enough to save it. A sad ending to a series that had so much potential.

After beating the two first episodes I just didn't know what to expect, I was at least reasonably sure that I wouldn't be that surprised. But I was wrong. Don't know how, but despite the bit confusing controls at the begining, this game is still full of surprises. Art and music are, again, superb, and the story feels fresh and engaging from start to finish. Is the finishing touch to an unforgettable experience: 5/7 perfect score, would buy it again.

I cannot even get the controls to work correctly and the game feels like a nightmare of trial and error and poorly executed ideas. The style and music might entice you to buy into this series but honestly, it's been a chore to play from start to finish, and Ep. 3 is absolutely impossible and borderline unplayable. I bought Ep. 3 just so I could see if the story went anywhere interesting, but man - life is too short to waste on this episode. By the way, probably about 3/4 of the time I have logged on this game was spent either searching in vain for videos or guides from anyone who knew how to play the darn thing, and then when I let the game sit idle while I did other things that were not a complete waste of my time.

We need more crazy wonders like this. Everything in this game is a slap on your face, from its very concept to its playable resolution. Expect anything, except the expected. A true gem.

it's incredibly fun to play, very original, and creative! I think it's the first surrealist game in history.

The first enigma: sun and moon, is difficult... I solve it by chance, and still now I can't figure out how! Nevertheless... the 3-d golf cart experience is simply NO FUN, I agree with most of the players., SO BAD! For me the wrost experience I haver had on a game (and I like to play old retro game from C64!). I like the game atmosphere, music tracks, characters, story, but most of the sub-games are not-related to the game story, bad in concept, d bad in controls, and really (sorrry to repeat this): no fun. Returing on the 3-d golf-cart, it has been so frustrating that I stopped playing and disintalled the game. What a pity!
