Atlantic Fleet puts you in command of the Allies or Kriegsmarine to fight for control of the Atlantic during WWII through turn-based tactical naval combat featuring realistic ship damage, historical campaigns, and dynamic warfare with submarines, surface raiders, and aircraft. Command up to 10 versus 10 historical ships with strategic depth across single missions, 50-mission campaigns, or a full 1939-1945 dynamic campaign with realistic buoyancy physics and subsystem targeting.
- Take command of surface ships, submarines as well as carrier and land based aircraft in the deadly struggle for control of Atlantic shipping lanes.
- Protect convoys as the Allies or go on the offensive with deadly submarine wolf packs and surface raiders of the German Navy.
- Play through 30 historical Single Missions or make your own with the Custom Battle editor.
- Take on 50 mission campaigns for each navy and build your own fleet.
- Recreate the challenges of the Battle of the Atlantic as you play a Dynamic Campaign with limited resources, historical units, actual convoy routes and real world-based weather.

Atlantic Fleet is a turn-based naval warfare game that players praise for its unique strategic depth and manual gun aiming mechanics, though some find the U-boat difficulty and slow progression frustrating. Players generally view it as worth trying, particularly if you enjoy tactical naval combat.
An extremely frustrating game, where the U-boats slaughter every ship you have, and are extremely difficult to sink. Even if you do sink one, the tonnage (aka "reknown") that you earn isn't enough to even purchase a single destroyer. Get ready to swear, stomp your feet, and wonder how the Brits ever lasted, before the Americans joined the war. If you like never winning, this is the game, for you!2 found this helpful
