Turn based tactical and strategic naval combat. Atlantic Fleet puts you in command of the Allies or Kriegsmarine (German Navy) in the longest military campaign of WWII, The Battle of the Atlantic.

I like the game when it works. Unfortunately, It crashes almost every time I play a mission. The only times it does not crash are in missions that only last maybe 10 minutes.1 found this helpful
Atlantic Fleet is SUPER fun if you're looking for a not too complicated naval warfare game. It's fairly dated in multiple aspects and in the Battle of the Atlantic campaign, about 3-4 years in, glitches start occurring that make the game borderline unplayable. I'm not sure how to fix these glitches and I've read other comments describing similar problems so idk (If anyone knows a solution please let me know). All in all this game is a fun and simple naval strategy game and I do recommend.

The Hood keeps exploding.
Simple, but great fun. Superb choice of naval ships. Feels like you really are in a naval battle without being so complex that you have no idea what you should do, or why something just happened the way it did. Very impressive.
