I really wanted to love this but the obsession with frame perfect jumps made the early spots just mind-numbing. No fun, just jump into spikes endlessly.

I like this game for what it is. I backed it on Kickstarter, so I did pay for it, just early. I would like there to be continued updates for it, ultrawide support, etc. but overall I'm just glad games like this are being made.

Being a Ghouls n Ghosts fan i actually really dig this game. It actually combines the best elements of the games in the series, I'd convey it as a mixed up "Super Ghouls and Goblins" if there was such a thing. The double jump is back, theres now three layers of armour and the third one is like a super max power up like in shoot em ups. The only thing that would top this awesome game is ...if it was was a series game in the franchise. I'd say I had the same enjoyment from it as the new Ghosts and Goblins game, and the pixel artwork with scanlines is better than that new G&G game. Think Giana Sisters back on the C64 when Mario was rocking NES. 9/10

i have many hours into this game in offline mode, so dont let the low play time shown fool you. this is a very good game in my opinion. has proper arcade like gameplay even in story mode. its a nice break from the market demand for souls like combat that i hate so much. arcade mode also gives it tons of replayability. its like 2 games in one. its a solid 7/10 overall. support this developer because we need more games like this
