About Beast Mask
A 2D side-scrolling action adventure game that starts with just a click. Play as the main character who can transform into various animals. By picking up beast masks in each level, you can transform into the corresponding beast, gain their powers, defeat monsters and bosses, and clear the level—it's that simple. 4 Beast Forms: - Monkey Form: Uses disdainful attacks; damage is low but extremely insulting. - Dragon Form: Ignores gravity and flies freely; close-range burst skill — Flame Explosion, long-range skill — Dragon Breath. - Bear Form: Huge, heavy, and steady; suicide-style attack — Sky-Smashing Strike, short-range blast skill — Thunder Roar. - Wolf Form: Moves on all fours, crawling through narrow spaces; dominating charge skill — Fang Thrust, signature flashy skill — Wolf King's Mischievous Heart. Linear gameplay: defeat every enemy you see and the boss at the end of each level. Currently features a forest level and seven different types of enemies, with more being continuously added...

Beast Mask, developed and published by Little Studio, is a focused 2D action-platformer that builds its entire identity around a single, well-executed idea: transformation as both a combat and traversal system. Rather than relying on a wide range of mechanics, the game narrows its scope and refines it, offering a streamlined experience where players collect and switch between different animal masks, each granting distinct abilities. This central mechanic isn’t just a gimmick—it’s the backbone of how the game plays, progresses, and challenges the player. The moment-to-moment gameplay feels fluid and intentional, with each mask altering the rhythm of movement and combat in noticeable ways. Some transformations emphasize speed and mobility, allowing players to navigate tricky platforming sections with precision, while others are tailored for direct confrontation, giving access to stronger attacks or defensive advantages. What makes this system engaging is how seamlessly the game encourages switching between forms. Success often depends on understanding when to change masks, creating a dynamic flow that blends reflex-based action with light strategic thinking. It’s not overly complex,…2 found this helpful
A single-level, very short platformer in which you start as a man and transform into a dragon, a bear, and a wolf. The man has only a jump and one simple attack, while the other three forms each have a type of charged attack and a cloud-like attack in front of them. After you reach the end of the stage and defeat an easy boss, you’re returned to the main menu. The game’s page description says there will be more levels in the future, so the current low price is reasonable. Also, there is no English language option.
