Beast Mode: Night of the Werewolf Silver Bullet Edition

The Updated Beast Mode: Night of the Werewolf is a fun and enjoyable experience. Learning the quickest routes and hoping the hippies run where you want them too make playing the levels, new and classic, challenging; and the new abilities help make maintaining the combos easier. However, after playing I found some things I must address. Progression between maps is very tedious in that you must play the same map multiple times (sometimes to a numbing degree) to unlock the next level. Also a major bug that may get addressed. Spamming an ability locks you from using your abilities or even attacking, but if you touch a hippie it dies lol. Overall, a fantastic update to this game, a good time killer if you want to hear Wilhelm screams and hippies yelling, "I am one with the universe." 8/10

I made the game, so I'm obviously biased, but Steam asked me to write a review so this is it :P I'm really proud of the remaster. It's finally the game that I wanted Beast Mode to be. If you're hesitant to pick it up, just consider that even if you're able to clear all the levels in a few hours, trying to top the online leaderboards is a legitimately difficult challenge. Especially when (ttv)Thaelo figured out how to break 1 million points on several levels!

This game is a simple and short, but also fun game to start every now and then to hunt hippies and high scores. I really enjoyed it. It reminds me a bit of old PS1 classics such as THPS2 where you didn't had long loading times and a quick and snappy main menu so you can just jump straight into the game. Over all, Silver Bullet Edition succeeds as the new and improved version of what was originally a really funny and fun silly game, but is now something that really stands on it's own legs... or... paws. The new and improved beast mode night of the warewolf does a really good job at being exactly what it is trying to be! A colourfully dark tongue in cheek romp around the universe as a bloodthirsty comic book warewolf who has a sweet tooth for hippies. Absolute hoot! I think the developer did a great job and had a lot of fun making this and I hope he receives ample appreciation for the work he has done to improve this game. The new edition runs smoother than ever, is funnier than ever, more immersive than ever, and the new maps are great! The gameplay is simple but that's inherant. You hunt and destroy hippies(among other things) as fast as you can to get kill combos and wrack up points to beat your high score and become king of the leaderboard. I like the smashable pumpkins too... they're a nice touch. very satisfying. I can't think of another game that satisfies the fantasy of being a warewolf that can't die and just lives to destroy... and partake in the hilarious scenarios tha…

sort of interesting but the action is very shallow and to progress anywhere despite beating a stage you will need to beat it like 10 times to unlock the next one. no thank you. this idea expanded and improved could be something but its a very basic idea as it stands and executed not all that well. to kill the hippies you just have to run near by them and sometimes running directly through them doesn't even get them so a half worthless left or right attack is sometimes required. has a weird level of polish in the presentation and menus along with the leaderboard system to suggest maybe i'm missing something but I don't believe I am.

Go Beast Mode Become the werewolf and shred those hippies! Recommended.
