Beat the Beats VR

[h1]Experienced on the Meta Quest 3[/h1] I've enjoyed what I've played so far. This is a solid boxing-themed VR music rhythm game. You basically jab, hook, uppercut & dodge to the beat of the music. It's nothing ground-breaking, but it's done competently. The musical soundtrack is pretty nice. Unfortunately, I didn't recognize any of the music, but it wasn't bad. The beatmaps were well-made. I didn't find any issues. Game ran fine. It's just solid overall, but nothing we haven't seen before. It may be the best boxing-themed rhythm game though. I feel a bit mislead by this game's availability on Steam This game has a huge amount of potential for content of a variety of skill levels on par with other VR rhythm games like Synth Riders and Beat Saber. The engine is solid and registers hits pretty well with an acceptable amount of feedback. The environments are flashy and entertaining while you're hitting away or blocking. The discography leaves much to be desired but at least it's got a variety of music and a fair number of tracks with difficult B sides However, the Steam Discussions are abandoned, the Discord links do not work, and so, from what I can tell, this company seems to consider the game complete and finished For a sale price, you can't really go wrong with BtBVR. It's not bad by any stretch. It just needs more love. It needs the ability to upload custom tracks to the Steam Workshop. VRM support (no not LIV) and some IK would go a long way for content creators to fan some flames There's promise here but it's difficult to recommend a stagnant rhythm game because they require a pretty dedicated fanbase or developers to carry them past the launch phase

Brilliant fitness game when you finally get to the end section where the beats are a lot faster - problem is just that, once you complete it, including the test scenarios, then there's only the options of going right from the start again but at a slower rate until you get to the middle again or do the level editor. I don't want slow songs for a slow workout, I want fast songs with an BPM that I can choose - so why not give the option of what BPM you can choose? Also the problem with the level editor is it doesn't automatically work it out for you with the algorithim, you have to sit there and do it manually - because I do really like this game I've got albums that I want to put on that have songs with BPMs of 150-170 so there's no chance I'm going to sit there trying to press buttons manually for what I want to hit left, up, down or right - if the dev can use the algorithim to get the base structure (as Box VR does and soon to be released other boxing games do) then I would probably use this game over them

Okeish #laggi sometimes? was fun but waiting for new content. Also community store seems buggy as hell and not polished ingame. Hope to get seen some more polishing has potential!

[h3]This is a really polished and enjoyable game.[/h3] [b]I highly recommend you check out this VR gem and download the demo.[/b] I have been looking for a workout-esque VR game that starts off really easy to learn but hard to master, like Beat Saber. I have tried a couple of the Rythm VR games, and none have really "clicked" for me like Beat Saber did. When I started the demo, I noticed the "Apple like" polish in the UI that was really intuitive and enjoyable to use. This was followed by the engaging and intuitive gameplay. I enjoyed going through each of the levels, and when I finished the final level, it gave you a good look at the more advanced levels. When I finished this level, it did give me the same satisfaction as when you complete a challenging Beat Saber level. There have only been a handful of games that I got upset when the demo ended, and this was one of them. [b]Some things to note:[/b] 1. All the levels are locked, and you need to play each song to unlock them in chronological order from easiest to hardest. 2. There are no real difficulty modes for the songs. Я не могу от нё оторваться! Ритм-бокс - это просто идеальная задумка. Правда я не могу понять, почему ни один трек не имеет конца, каждый раз когда кончается раунд, трек тупо обрывается на середине. Это очень обламывает. Я привык, что музыка имет начало середину и конец. А тут музыка имет начало, середину, а потом резко обрывается, когда заканчивается раунд. Поэтому создаётся ощущение что не хватает бэнгеров, не хватает яркой музыки. Но если привыкнуть к той музыке, что есть то она со временем начинает очень навится. В общем я очень рекомендую к ознакомлению
