Beyond Gravity

Sometimes you need a mindless arcade game you can play a little each day. For me, Beyond Gravity fit the bill. You have a little astronaut jumping from spinning tiny "planet" to spinning tiny "planet". Procedurally-generated planets of different sizes and rotation speeds, sometimes in reverse. Your astronaut jumps in an arc. If you time it perfectly, he can grab all the floating cogs and screws. He can die from missing landing on a planet and falling into the void or getting hit by a fireball between two planets (thankfully not common). What kept me playing was the different goals, each goal being an achievement, and the upgrades you could buy. Not much graphical variety, only one long and catchy music, but a somewhat addictive game loop nevertheless. It's also super cheap.
