This aspect becomes even more valuable in Block Tower: you can build towers on high ground, leave free blocks for resource extraction or later strong towers. In addition, all towers have an experience bar, the earlier you build it, the stronger it will be in the late game.

I am - somehow - enjoying this game. Which is strange, because usually I really dislike when games are too much RNG based. And believe me: This game is RNG based! Which tiles, which upgrades and even which towers you get is completely random. So you may find yourself in the mid or late game without a crucial tower/tile/upgrade. I just had a run in which I only got the mana regen crystals within the last 10 rounds. Because the RNG didn't drop them before. And I did not get any snow fields at all. So I had to make do with those single crystals that you get in the regular tree tiles. I bet the fact how little control you have over everything is a factor why even the most completed achievement was only ever achieved by 12% of the players, and the 6th most completed achievement is already at only 1%. I guess the game is perfectl when your head is too full of things to play grand strategy games. Here you're forced to roll with whatever random options you get, No planning from minute 1. The music is stock music that I feel like I've heard 20x before, so I muted that one very quickly, but not before I noticed that ALT+TABbing will not pause/mute the music. Overall, it’s a solid tower defense game. It keeps things simple, but there’s still enough strategy to make it fun.
cool tower defense
pretty cool, but there are barely any perks. honestly, the only decent things are the new biome, weapons, and buildings. the rest is just filler, like 'plus resources' or 'plus damage'—that stuff is so boring. i wish there were more diverse perks because right now there are way too few. but yeah, it's still fun overall
Block Tower TD is a nifty little tower defender with some great ideas, but the initial difficulty ramps up too hard I think. I know I aint the smartest or most adaptable especially with strategy games, but the way the game ramps up and has you thinking about your builds for 20 waves ahead really trip me up. This game is still a really good tower defense game and for its low price is was a fantastic find for me no matter how terrible I may be at the game.
