Blood High!

its a very cute game. But the biggest issue I have with it is just that there isnt much content. Whats in the game is fun, but it just feels like one half of a game. it has 3 worlds (?) with 5 levels each, and theyre all fun to play, but it feels like its missing another 3 worlds of content. Even an endless mode, where you get upgrades every few levels would make it feel more full. Also, being stuck to 1 gun at a time seems strange, i think it would be more fun with the ability to use multiple weapons in the levels. maybe theres an upgrade that allows that, but i didnt see it.

The gameplay boils down to something like Ultrakill: get in close and kill mobs point blank to heal and focus the more tanky/problematic mobs in-between. Okay, i'm with you there. Solid. Now where you lose me: entire rooms with enemies that take an entire magazine or two to kill with no mobs to heal from, projectiles from all directions with a subpar movement system, a dodge button with a 5 second cooldown, a mechanic where you throw your head to leech and mobclear but sometimes it just straight up doesnt work, tagged enemies suddenly no longer tagged the millisecond your head is thrown, some enemies that are tagged dont die immediately, while some untagged enemies do for some reason, and the worst of it is when throwing the head just straight up doesn't leech at all, It's a rogue-like but every room is scripted, so the annoyances are guaranteed every single time, the three upgrades boil down to "more damage, more hp, faster reload, and... dashing through enemies? wha-?" which is insane when you could really use some movement abilities (especially when your points system punishes getting hit. it REALLY REALLY hurts to not recommend this game cause is started off fun. -but after stage 1 it just wasnt fun for me anymore stages 2 and 3 were just poorly designed in my opininon and i didnt know what i needed to do -i know it was more of an arcade game thing but the first point i made plus the lack of any sorta small dialogue even just a single line of text from a boss really hurt the experince. it just went from "yo its kinda cool, shes sucha badass" to "ok its just all blending together now.." -I LIKED most of the music -the main charahcter is HELLA HOT -stage 1 WAS FUN

Wow! Awesome art direction on this one. The music and look of this game was really cool. Gameplay was fun and my only complaint is the game left me desperately wanting more! Definitely worth the asking price.
