About Blood Running

About

Early in the 23rd century, years of anarchy turned the planet into a violent wasteland. Civilization withdrew to the planet's remote areas and established Outposts. To keep the economy running, raids are organized into the Wasteland to gather supplies, valuables, and weapons. These raids are known as Blood Runs due to their brutality and high risk. Those who undertake these raids go by the name Blood Runners.

Unique Every Time

With a randomly generated world, no two runs will be the same. Explore the maps, each with unique locations featuring constantly changing environments, randomized loot locations, and layouts. Learn to navigate the wasteland and survive long enough to uncover the secrets of each map.

Gun Modding

Raid the wastelands in a way that matches your playstyle. With over 40 modular guns, you can mix and match to make yourself the most formidable Blood Runner in the wasteland. Spec into recoil control and accuracy for the calculated and methodical, or choose the run and gun approach with high-damage and ergonomics.

Quests & Looting

Between runs, you'll explore Outpost 072 and embark on various quests that take you through the world. You'll uncover secrets and stories about the world by meeting intriguing characters. Daily quests and bounties keep the game fresh, with new challenges each day. With over 230 unique items to collect, you can craft new items, upgrade your base, and trade with merchants.

Unlock Skills & Upgrade Your Base

Level up to unlock skill points, which can be spent on levelling up skills, giving you a distinct edge in the wasteland. Craft new building units and decorations to make your base unique to you. Level up building units to unlock crafting recipes, repairing, permanent perks, and storage space.

This game had a lot of potential but the devs slapped 1.0 and called it a day. This game is now just shovel ware/abandon ware now. Don't buy

this game would almost be good if the developer didn't force a day/night/weather system into the game for no real reason and it's literally just an ugly filter over the entire screen...

This game is kind of a buggy mess. I keep losing progress because I change my inventory and then can't do anything to actually close my inventory again, so I end up only having the option to Alt+F4.

Unfortunately kept getting stuck in menus while looting a body. And there is no quick transfer while looting you have to drag an item one at a time. It looked like an alright game but guess I'll never know

The is a difficult yes to give. The game can be genuinely fun and feel good in moments: Extraction/looting seems good, music and visual are great, and the game is difficult as hell if you rush straight into combat, gotta think and use disguises to slip by enemy line, very fun. There are a few too many cons for me to consider this game great, however: Most npc only have 1/2 quest for you, forever. There are bounties and daily quests to do for continued rep and monetary rewards, but it's got no substance, "Go here, do this, kill this guy, pick these things up," it doesn't really lead anywhere, just a thing to do for some money. There are *several* quality of life features that slipped past the radar on this one: Ctrl-clicking doesn't stack piles, if the one you're trying to add has too many for the original pile. For example: I have 17/20 screw in a pile, I click to add another pile, and it takes whatever the value was and puts it into a different pile, and does not add 17 to make it 20. This is the least of my concerns. Stated earlier the content well runs dry really quickly, and you'll mostly just be killing people for fun, and not for profit or progress after a f…

awesome single player extraction shooter. It doesn't seem to be as big as ZS but it is quite nice. Art style is awesome. Futuristic cyberpunk/futurepunk setting. Very nice game play loop. Lots to collect, upgrade and loot. Great variety of enemies so far. The ONLY issue I've come across is off screen shooting issues with bad guys with normal weapons. Happens very rarely though. Still, if you're a fan of ZERO Sievert, Hell is Others or Atomic Exile then welcome home. It has mad charm, great little tunes and a fairly robust system. Hoping the devs make a bigger and more in-depth 2nd game. Worth your time.
