【Story Synopsis】

Ji Xingyu, a painter who achieved fame at a young age, once fell into a long, gray-white dream.When he woke from the dream, he found he could no longer retrieve the liveliness that had vanished from his brush.Now, having shed the halo of a prodigy, he lives as an ordinary painter after graduation, making a living through his art.Day after day, staying up late to meet deadlines, he gradually grows accustomed to a busy yet quiet life.— Until that summer.A mysterious blonde girl visits him, bringing with her a damaged masterpiece…As the Flower and Bird Festival art exhibition draws near, the past and the truth buried deep within the strokes of his brush will slowly come to light.

A foreign girl who stumbles into the studio by chance, possessing an extraordinary passion for painting.As Xingyu's student and assistant, she stays in the studio to practice, awaiting the opening of the Flower and Bird Festival exhibition.Hoping to fulfill a promise made to someone, she dreams of painting the most perfect sunflower the world has ever seen.

• 苏绫菲 (Su lingfei)

By day, she's a maid playing the role of the little devil "Mephis" at a café, and also a trustworthy underclassman. She once signed a strange contract with Xingyu and often looks after him under the pretense of fulfilling its terms. Coming from a well-known artistic family in the local city of Funiao, she gave up painting due to a lack of talent and has since returned to an ordinary life.

• 芙洛·古根海姆 (Flora Guggenheim)

A mysterious blonde girl Xingyu encounters by chance in the garden. Elegant in speech, she carries a surprising sense of trustworthiness. She is a patron of the renowned artist collective "The Order of the Golden Knights" and an exceptional art collector. She brings a severely damaged precious painting and commissions Xingyu with an almost impossible restoration task.

The male protagonist of this story.A highly skilled yet unpopular painter.He recently purchased a second-hand studio from a senior who had switched careers and began living a life of painting with reversed day and night. Once a rising star highly anticipated by the industry, he has since unfortunately fallen from grace.
