I'd like to think he’s just high on turpentine from all the oil painting........ please I loved the voice actors, and both the art and story are beautiful <3

the art style is really beautiful. the game has everything: an original soundtrack, voice acting, and various cgs... for a free-to-play game, there's no going wrong with this one. you can finish it easily under an hour; i did it in less than forty minutes. it is a grotesque, doomed romance that is still able to make you feel melancholy in a short time. it’s a tragic story, but it presents no reason to dwell on the semantics of occurrences as they have, in fact, simply occurred, so it all works well within its purpose. beautifully made, really. very much worth your time. no grave can hold my body down, i'll crawl home to her... and he really did </3

Well, it was neat. Nothing too special, but I liked the art and the voice acting. Also, the way Sam is obsessed with painting was written quite nicely in my opinion. I like how it hones in on the purposelessness of obsession — it doesn't serve others, nor does it serve Sam; the act of painting is the draw in itself. The final ending was a bit abrupt but that's fine ig. My favourite one was the Muse ending.

I remember that the first time that I've seen this game was not long after it's release. In early 2025 I've played through it on a random IT lesson while we weren't doing anything. I got all the endings, looked at the art for a few seconds, and didn't give the story more than a thought. I definitely found it interesting and the art very pretty. I don't remember when I added it to my steam library, but it collected dust for a while. I played it today out of boredom, just picked a random thing on a whim. I remembered some parts of it, but not the ones that actually mattered ( the third ending definitely cuaght me by surprise ). I think I can appreciate it a lot more now, especially since art this beatiful is rare in the age of ai slop or the same repetitive art style. I'll definitely replay the game again, both for the story and the captivating art. I wish it was a little longer, but it also didn't feel like it was too short or skipping over anything.

Actually a tragic casual game you can play. The Story and the art amazing 👏

Short but devastating. A portrait of grief and stagnation in its rawest form. The writing and choice of words build such a thick atmosphere, and the voice acting deserves a special mention. What an experience.
Truly, an agony of the artist
.
