Blue Rabbit, Black Future is a modest 2D platforming adventure that focuses on straightforward gameplay, gradually increasing difficulty, and a compact presentation rather than an enormous collection of mechanics. Developed and published by dakenite, the game combines traditional side-scrolling platforming with pixel-style visuals, boss encounters, and a short narrative told partly through animated cinematics. Its relatively small scope works in its favor because the experience feels designed around delivering a concise sequence of challenges instead of unnecessarily extending a simple concept. The core adventure consists of 24 levels that become progressively more demanding. This structure gives the game an immediately understandable rhythm: enter a stage, overcome its platforming challenges, and continue toward increasingly difficult obstacles. The controls and underlying mechanics are intentionally accessible, allowing players to understand what is expected without spending much time learning complicated systems. Badly done platforming is interspersed with incredibly cringey furry e-book sections. The cringe is enough to make you feel ill. This Android mobile app that looks like it was yanked from Google Play (probably for quality reasons)... but it makes no difference if this hit PC before the app stores, or if it never even launched on a phone. This was made by mobile app "developers", and intended for the lowest common denominator in gaming, and it must be judged accordingly... there's no contemporary, modern PC gaming experience in mobile apps. That alone is reason enough to reject this from any kind of recommendation to PC gamers. The precision required came pretty quickly. Didn't feel like restarting a level several times just to make a precise jump at the end of one.
