Gameplay:
This game used to be a lot of fun to play, but unfortunately it no longer works. Compatibility issues with new versions of Windows.
I recommend but only if you have an old version of Windows or if you don't mind destroying your PC by uploading an old version of directX. Ten Pin Alley. Hotshots Golf. Bocce Revolution. In the long line of accessible sports games that use a power meter to simulate how much force you're applying to a ball, it's not a comfortable thought that Bocce Revolution is leading the vanguard into the future. That isn't to say that this is a terrible game. If you want nothing more than to play bocce with a friend or against the computer, and to play either a single game or a best-out-of-five tournament, then have at it. God knows the market is underserving the bocce crowd. On the other hand, $20 for this seems really steep because all there is are those two modes and some physics that don't quite feel right. Maybe I'm wrong about the physics, maybe they're fine, maybe it's just that there isn't any sound effect for when the ball is rolling across the court. Maybe it's that the aiming line seems to be consistently off, somewhere between five and ten degrees to the right of the ball's actual path. Maybe it isn't the physics as much as it is the crowd's triangle faces, and the two textures and hairstyles that are recolored and repeated across them. Maybe it's that there is only one court and it's inside, and there are windo…

There aren't many video games that feature boules-type games, much less are dedicated to them. Bocce Revolution is a competent and functional representation of the sport of Bocce; being more familiar with indoor bowls, which I enjoy watching on television every year & have had a few goes at myself (with limited success), I had somewhat of an idea of what to expect going into the game, though the rules are easy to pick up in any case. Ultimately, Bocce Revolution requires a combination of precision and good timing in order to achieve strong results. There is the option to play either against the computer, or locally with a second player. While a long way from being the flashiest sports title on Steam, being very much a no-frills product, it doesn't need to be; Bocce Revolution is a straightforward game, ideal for enjoying on an occasional basis, away from the worries of getting involved in anything overly complex. The commentator is... an acquired taste, admittedly, but there's a certain charm about the, almost unnecessarily, enthusiastic dialogue combined with the comparatively soporific delivery that I find amusing, it just seems so on-point for this particular game (some might u…

I really wanted to give it a positive review but there is literally no point in playing this game. The AI is way too good it is stupid. You get a prefect throw, they get it more perfect. It's crazy. Other than that i would've loved this game and probably sank 100+ into it. Sad.

Bocce Revolution is a straightforward and earnest digital adaptation of the traditional sport of bocce, created and published by Dysotek. Rather than attempting to modernize or radically reinterpret its source material, the game focuses almost entirely on recreating the methodical, physics-driven nature of bocce in a virtual space. From the outset, it’s clear that Bocce Revolution is designed with a specific audience in mind: players who appreciate deliberate pacing, strategic placement, and the quiet tension that comes from precision rather than speed or spectacle. The gameplay closely mirrors real-world bocce rules, emphasizing careful shot selection and spatial awareness. Each turn requires players to consider angle, power, and throw style, with small adjustments often making the difference between victory and defeat. There’s no reliance on reflex-heavy mechanics or flashy animations; instead, success comes from understanding how the balls interact with one another and the court surface. This physics-based approach is where the game finds its strongest footing, as shots feel weighty and outcomes are generally consistent with player intent. A well-placed throw can shift momentum…

Great game, hard to win but I really recommend it, the AI is 2nd to none.
