This game is a mess. The coding is laughably juvenile and reeks of inexperience. It doesn’t just need polish, it needs to be completely scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up by someone who actually understands game design. The “crafting system” is insultingly dull and feels like it was added just so the developer could claim the game has one. The combat system is even worse: shallow, uninspired, and borderline nonexistent. It genuinely feels like a low-effort RPG Maker prototype that someone decided to slap a price tag on. Nothing here feels thoughtfully designed. There’s no depth, no meaningful mechanics, and no justification for selling this as a finished product. It plays like a rough draft that somehow escaped early testing. To make matters worse, the developer reportedly bans or silences players on discord who leave negative reviews/comments or reports bugs which says a lot about how confident they are in their own work. If you can’t handle criticism, maybe don’t sell a product this half-baked. Save your money friendos.

This is one of the best JRPGs I've ever played.

It gets better as you get farther along but the grindy nature and the stupid prequel quests make it so i can not recommend.

The main campaign is enjoyable - the different playstyles between the campaigns keeps things fresh while still keeping the core combat the same so you don't have to relearn things. The only campaign I have issues with is Papelne's - gathering the large amount of materials to beat the scenario is fairly tedious, and there aren't many resources to figure out which monsters have what Material without already encountering the material. The graphics are cute as usual for the Dark Witch series, and the music is good - Raito is always really good. I think the game is fairly easy for the most part in the main game, but the postgame practically necessitates NG+ upgrades and a second playthrough, which I imagine can be frustrating to people. Grinding NG+ currency also isn't the best. I would recommend Brave Dungeon 1 over this one, but if you want more, this one is perfectly serviceable.
