It's fine up until after the second heist and suddenly everything becomes an absolutely moronic and insane three way dance in the streets of Chicago between The Feds, The Grand Alliance Of The Chicago Mob + The Cartels + The Archangels, which may as well just be a Private Military with all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they apparently have. And that's where the entire game falls apart and becomes Too Stupid. A very loose recommendation if you happen to enjoy things that go off the rails for no particular reason. What starts as a classic bank robbery quickly unravels into a high-stakes mess involving old teammates, simmering grudges, and secrets that threaten to tear everything apart. It’s a game full of complex interpersonal dynamics, sharp-tongued banter, and choices that snowball fast. If you love the "team of specialists planning a job" trope, you’ll eat this up. But it’s also messy in more ways than one: full of typos, a chaotic final act, and a clear bias toward certain characters. Such a fun and exciting story, I honestly couldn't stop reading! The characters are all uniquely written, and combined with the choices, the pacing and flow are just perfect. If I had to mention one downside, I'd say it's sometimes a bit unrealistic how much damage the characters can endure (so many bullets, cuts and bruises!). But other than that, it's pure action the whole way through. Also, the ROs and romance scenes were written so well. I can't wait for the sequel!1 found this helpful
