Every time I jump into this game its 80% different. No idea what changes they made or how I should be playing. I wanted to feel a little bit of story progression but it lacks. I feel like there is some game breaking stuff I should know about or what to work up for but it doesn't really do it for me. The Cargo injuries % is too high. literally I'ma train give me stuff to transport, like everywhere. Why else would you be a train?2 found this helpful
Much of the game remains untranslated. Large sections of text are missing, nomenclature is inconsistent, tooltips can be inaccurate, balance is a mess, there's noting to reward building a large deck so you're motivated to strip everything and just play the same five cards every turn, and the turrets all look the same. Everything on your train tends to blur together, behind the explosions. I'm not sure why they designed to make everything brick red. But there are some interesting mechanics here and there. Check this game out in a year--if the game keeps getting updates, it'll probably wind up pretty cool. Eventually.1 found this helpful
Great game so far, and scratches that FTL itch that nothing else has (and want one more turn) really since while being it's own unique game/style. Only negative is that I'm looking forward to more; trains, cards, events/enemies, and mechanics. The art style is great for this, with enemies/animations having life to them. I like the mix of placement, aiming, and addition of buffs/powers. Would like to see the personnel included in the battles more, opposed to passive buffs, with maybe some FTL inspired movement of people between train cars to do things; may be too much to focus on and manage/balance however. Would also be great to see them used more in the over-world as well opposed to just placing them for events. Not to turn it completely rogue-like, but persistent benefits for beating the waves and/or elites may give even more replay-ability. Some way to level-up/customize your train, hero, and personnel; maybe to add gear/powers for them. No bugs/crashes, runs smoothly as a light-weight game, and has felt balanced so-far. Look forward to see more, and would encourage people to buy even now at this price.1 found this helpful
An incredible niche of an idea in a rogue-like brought to fruition, and unfortunately saddled by the realities of a small production team. Give it time, and with the right direction it's an experience that I believe could be a staple for those who love Mad Max, Snowpiercer, and the Hogwarts Express on a cocktail of adrenaline and the wonders of compound interest (regarding weapon combinations) ;) We all want something new and ingenious. Some of us muster the courage to make it a reality. FojoGames has taken that jump and given the attention it has deserved, which is at the point where polish is a priority. The team has done a great job realising something exciting and repayable but it certainly needs work to make it accessible and repayable. I sat down with a friend to play the version prior to the recent patch, and we loved it! Good balance, a feeling of developing a crew of rogues, and a great sense of progression and achievement. It's supply chain in a post-apocalyptic world with guns and that's, well...no one's doing that. However, I appreciate that developers have priorities, and bandwidths for designers are limited, but this game needs to take a hard look at itself in an i…
Idk what I'm doing but it's fun. lol Edit: Now I know what I'm doing and it's even more fun. Edit 2: After 60+ hours into the game I can say that as of 20.08.2025 the game has some serious balancing issues which I hope will get patched out with time. The gameplay loop is solid though.
Wow, what a fun little gem! It's still an early ver so it has many minor issues, but the core gameplay loop is pretty solid. I like that the game allows us to bring in many crews and has different ways to earn money, and it's always trading risk and rewards between what you can handle and what might break your build.

Issues I hope will be improved: 1. The tutorial really isn't great as it didn't cover some key tips. For example, do you know that you can send out crews to multiple events at the same time? Well, I didn't, so I was wasting time sending and waiting one event at a time. Similarly, the "high price buy back at location X" means we go to the Recycle tab, which I was wondering where to sell. 2. We need more cards removal especially the game tends to give us many cards, and not nearly enough ways to remove them. Maybe after some battles, we can choose to remove cards or add cards? Some locations allows us to do card removal, but those are rare. There are also card removal stations on the map, but they only removes one card per visit, not sure if that's a bug. 3. Weapons lose their enhancements and stats after being destroyed or swapped, but that also means eith…
