"Brutal Alice -The Hundred Day's War-" is a free to play (and surprisingly not MTX infested) turn based strategy game that looks like it's a mobile app or a browser game, yet is also here on Steam, I guess this is convenient if you don't have a web browser and therefore cannot play browser games. For everyone else, I can't recommend this one for some reasons we'll get into. What do you do in the game? It's a fantasy kingdom/turn based battle strategy clicker thing. I've seen worse, but this is winning zero awards in the PC gaming arena (which is for PC games). There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. For gameplay purposes, because the user interface for this game is mostly just 2D static text/images... it might as well be a web page. It's functionally no different from a browser game. And we all know, Steam isn't here to compete with Chrome and Firefox. If the game can be done in a web browser, it's just not rich or compelling enough to appeal to serious gamers on PC. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spe…

Bear's Take: "Brutal Alice -The Hundred Day's War-" - a strategic simulation set in a world of regional control, where flags become battlegrounds in a conflict of dominance. Sip 'n' Savor: Despite its potential, "Brutal Alice" stumbles out of the gate with a lack of English support and an unnecessary flirtation with sexualization in its early stages. However, the promise of an intriguing spellcard system hints at deeper gameplay beneath the surface. Like a jar of honey with a stubborn lid, the true flavor remains tantalizingly out of reach for now. Milk Mustache Moment: While the language barrier may hinder initial impressions, "Brutal Alice" offers a glimpse of strategic complexity with its regional control mechanics and spellcard system. Like a cub stumbling through its first foray into the forest, there's a sense of exploration and discovery waiting to be uncovered. Roar Factor: In the world of "Brutal Alice," flags become symbols of power and dominance, but the game's potential is hindered by its early missteps and language limitations. Despite its flaws, there's a glimmer of promise in its strategic gameplay, hinting at greater depths waiting to be explored. Final Paw-siti…
