✦ AI summary
Players praise this game for being a relaxing, straightforward experience with solid nostalgia value that runs well on modern PCs. However, many note that the simple mechanics and limited strategic depth become repetitive once you discover the optimal strategy, the pricing feels steep for the content offered, and there's minimal replay value after achieving perfect scores.
Easy, non-stressful game.
Not a complex game, but it's a lot of fun
Simplistic mechanics, but pretty fun. Once you figure out a good strategy it does get a bit old fast. In the later levels there's no reason to build anything other than the most expensive buildings making most of the cheap ones useless. Very steep price for what you get. Ultimately a great game for nostalgia sake and holds up on it's own, too. I 100% this in 8 hours. Once you get the gold star i.e. perfect score there's little to no reason to replay it. Runs well on modern PC's with a few glitches. Most of the challenge in this game comes from the timer trying to chase the perfect score. Has quite a bit of strategy, but once you figure the winning strategy out you can apply that to most levels. Pro tip:
build a sawmill and a workshop as soon as possible once you have both. Then build the most expensive house you can and sell it immediately. From there you have enough money and cheap labour + resources to build the most expensive houses you can and farm rent. This strategy got me through most of the game with a perfect score
Love it, playing it from 2006, despite being a short one I still love it and the followings are even beeetter!
