I initially was enjoying this game, but it feels like there's way too much RNG involved in whether you succeed in a level, and the progression quickly becomes super slow. It takes a long time to get enough points to level a tower when you can't beat a level, and one upgrade only gives you a minimal improvement to one tower type. Meanwhile, it's mainly the RNG of whether an enemy bounces repeatedly on your bumper and destroys it that determines whether you progress, since the resource gain you rely on to place towers is based on time. Since you have to wait to get more towers, you're dependent on the RNG of enemy bounces to not destroy your existing defenses before you can get the ability to build more towers. Meanwhile, everything feels like it's very tightly tuned. Given that there's not much room for creativity, I lost interest in repeating a level after like 8 times somewhere around the sixth level.3 found this helpful
Jumped in with minimum expectations thinking I'd refund it if it's not fun. The first few levels are intro but once the pinball flippers and other mechanics are being introduced I started having a blast! If you want a weird and unique mix of Pinball X Tower Defense this definitely is a game you should try!1 found this helpful
Very addictive and well balanced so far! Was just going to test for a few minutes, but almost played an hour without noticing. (I have work to do) :D
