About Bunny Space Odyssey: FlopHop

"Bunny Space Odyssey: FlopHop" is an adventure pixel art indie game with platformer and puzzle elements. You will play as Ponchee the bunny, who finds herself on an uninhabited planet called FlopHop. She has no memories except for current events, and her teacher and friend becomes her spacesuit Usagi-01, which tells her about the past, the future, and her destiny.

Gameplay
In the world of FlopHop, you will experience an exciting story told through quests and lore, during which you will be engaged in platforming gameplay: Ponchee must protect capsules with plants to eventually green the planet. You will also encounter many puzzles of various kinds that will stand in Ponchee's way as she learns about the history of the world, the universe, and her home planet.

Why is Ponchee alone on this planet? Who created Usagi-01? What happened to her home planet, and how did she end up on FlopHop? Ponchee will uncover all this together with our players! But this journey of discovery might not be so sweet – along the way, there will be many disappointments, moments of loneliness, contemplation, and reflection.

レトロなピクセルアート調の興味深いゲームです。 しかし音楽はとても現代的で、そのコントラストがビジュアルに新しい命を吹き込んでいます。 物語は少し切なく、けれども心に残る教訓を与えてくれる内容でした。6 found this helpful
love the game, love the story, love the musical style! Ten out of ten for
Ponchee, Vince and the other two buns
6 found this helpful
Well… that was one hell of a trip! FlopHop is a game that gently takes your hand at first, then quietly leaves you alone with your thoughts. Exploration, silence, unusual mechanics, and a deep sense of loneliness come together to create a truly cohesive and atmospheric journey. This is a game you don’t want to rush - you want to listen to the world, study its details, and feel the pauses between moments. A rare kind of adventure that happens not only on the screen, but inside you. Very good story.5 found this helpful
First off, thank you to the devs for letting me win a free key through Instagram! The art is cute, the soundtrack is to die for, and the character controls rather well. I haven't been playing long, but I do enjoy the game, and I am curious about the story thusfar. My current favorite part is where the game had me assemble the plant pod and (i forgot the cannon title for it but) the rover we will be using to make the planet green, but I am not far in and I have full confidence they can top that. Furthermore, the game is shockingly well optimized. I managed to get it running on a laptop with the wrong processor, and yet it took a while for it to begin to lag. It took me an hour to complete the intro, and it only started lagging near the end. Though, unfortunately, when I interacted with the cave's exit I crashed. This is likely due to my laptop lacking what is required to run the game, so honestly the fact I got as far as I did without checking I had what I needed is great as is and I will likely try the game again on a friend's PC later. I only have a few genuine criticisms as of right now, and with the game being as good as it already is they are far from detrimental. First …2 found this helpful
Flophop is a game that tells a very cute story, centering around a bunny named Ponchee with an autonomous spacesuit, but after playing through it to completion, there are many glaring issues that I could not help but notice many reviews seem to neglect to mention or critique. The core movement lacks any real momentum or acceleration. This is obvious within the first few minutes. Jump weight feels inconsistent, and there's a noticeable input delay on top of it. Jump height also seems gated behind how hard you press the button, to the point where max input becomes the baseline just for basic traversal, not an optional way to jump higher. This gets worse in later levels, where you have to move against flowing water that outpaces your own speed. The only way through is to spam the jump button repeatedly, since there's no other legitimate traversal option built for these sections. It plays like the level design was intended for a better movement system that was never implemented. Player sprites will sometimes freeze in wrong animation states during movement, and this isn't isolated to movement either. Later levels have a collection prompt where hitting the input is supposed to gather…1 found this helpful
