About Burning Instinct
This game is about the journey of a dragon, beginning right from the start: Popping out of the egg!
As a baby dragon, you will encounter many obstacles and difficulties, but as you get more experienced, your dragon gets too. It will learn new abilities, evolve and grow up as you progress.
Burning Instinct is a hard sidescrolling platformer with "Metroidvania"-like aspects. Secrets are hiding in every corner, and challenging bosses await you in over 90 screens of gameplay!

Nice platform game. Pros: +It has an interesting story, and makes you wanna play on to finally reach your goal. +The graphics are not overwhelming, yet decent for a 2D-game (especially the mushrooms are nicely drawn). +The controls are easy to learn. +You can't play according to the book, but instead have to think about possible ways to progress within the game. +The soundtrack fits the game quite well. Cons: -Symbolism can be confusing if you are not into the matter. -You can finish the game without finding all the flames (only a certain amount is needed to progress), which makes trying to get all seem dispensable (just to get the achievement). -It's only possible to have one save at a time. My overall rating: 7.5/1010 found this helpful
its really hard and theres barely any save points. theres also no regeneration mechanic and there aren't many hearts.
