I remember playing this as a young teenager and decided to buy it for the sake of the good memories I had playing this game. I would not recommend buying due to the fact that it simply does not work well on newer systems. You have to move your mouse around to "paint"he main menu. If you minimize the game and then open it again you will find a black screen. You will have to move your mouse around to "paint" the map and the interface. This is a major PITA. The mouse cant move around the map very well which ultimately makes the game unplayable. The sfx work but the music does not work. Companies still taking money from their customers despite knowing full well they don't function on modern machines. I am going to be asking for a refund.

It didn't work on Steam Deck.

The mouse sticks so bad the game is unplayable, Ive tried it on 3 different PCs. I have 82 hours played, its not like i didnt try to make it work. Was one of my favorite games when it came out. big disappointment.

Still as fun as I recall from 20+ years ago. Gameplay is a bit dated compared to AoE and Civilization around the same time. But this game is a great alternative to those and this was what opened me up to games like that.
