Settings: No barbarians - then in game 10 barbarians take city without a revolt involved. Keeps crashing when pillaging tile improvements.1 found this helpful
I remember playing this as a young teenager and decided to buy it for the sake of the good memories I had playing this game. I would not recommend buying due to the fact that it simply does not work well on newer systems. You have to move your mouse around to "paint"he main menu. If you minimize the game and then open it again you will find a black screen. You will have to move your mouse around to "paint" the map and the interface. This is a major PITA. The mouse cant move around the map very well which ultimately makes the game unplayable. The sfx work but the music does not work. Companies still taking money from their customers despite knowing full well they don't function on modern machines. I am going to be asking for a refund.

Similar to Civilisation but the game play is a little different - cool music :)
wonderful concept, I wish someone could remaster this incredible game, and update it. this is chess with greater mobility and characters. Exposes you to the craft and generalized technological advancements. great potential
