I love this game to death. It is absolutely one of my favorite games of all time. I have had countless hours of fun with it. Unfortunately, you should absolutely not support this version right now. The game is free and open-source on GitHub (as hopefully most of us know by now) and this version is intended to support one of the devs of the C:DDA project. What this actually means is you will wait an inordinate amount of time for a stable release to come to Steam despite it having been officially released on GitHub quite some time ago. I gave the dev the benefit of the doubt and waited a month, but this is kind of ridiculous. As others have said, it's just not worth donating money to suffer for it, so I can't recommend it to you. Seek it out on the C:DDA website. There is a donations page listed if you still want to support, but keep in mind the dev responsible for the delays with this version is KorGgenT. Hey Cataclysm is awesome. I love the game, it's super fun. I specifically love the mind over matter mod and the magiclysm one. Why is it then that I'm leaving a negative review? Welp, I originally bought this version to support some developers of the game; which I intended to do before, and am growing less and less willing to do. Listen, while *mainly* I bought the game to support the dev, I *also* was promised the Steam package of goodies: play time, achievements, news. THERE IS NO NEWS. No comments, no communication, nothing. The game if you are lucky gets updated in the stable version after a month from the git release. I only knew that the newest stable version popped out (0.I at the time of writing this) because I'm also following the git of the project. For the 0.H it took a month, which is quite a lot, but fine. We have been waiting more than six weeks for 0.I. I don't think six weeks is a reasonable timeframe in my opinion for a porting on Steam of a stable version of the game. This is unacceptable in my opinion; Not the fact that it's taking a long time (accidents happen and anything can happen while developing a game) but the fact that there is no communica…7 found this helpful
Bought this to support the project and enjoy some steam features, but whoever is running this steam page has NOT updated to the latest stable and has not put out a single word on updating it. Go download the free version, you're not missing anything here.7 found this helpful

This game is amazing and free. You can download it from github and its page. Just google it. What we have here is the same game but with achievements and without any updates. 0.I came out more than a month ago - still is not available here despite the fact that its a stable version. Sometimes I like to break into science facilities and drink gallons of mutagen just to see if it's true that every creature eventually evolves back into a crab via Carcinization. you laugh but my mighty claws can easily decapitate a zombie and or hold onto to a Omega-3 and vitamin D rich trout I pulled out of a pond.1 found this helpful
