"cell" is a free to play ultra minimalist action game using a basic 2D retro platformer mechanism, but instead of platforming you jump up and down and gobble up smaller polygons to increase your own size. Not unlike if the cell stage of Spore, or the Sparkle games were 2D platformers, but also with worse graphics. While you can change the resolution this does nothing to fix the crappy minimalist placeholder "art", so the visuals here are pretty terrible. The game maps PC gaming peripherals (HOTAS, Pedals, Racing Wheels etc) as if they are console peasant children's toy gamepads. This makes the player move constantly in one direction and makes the game completely unplayable. There's no way to turn this off. This would have been picked up with basic testing on PC. While this is completely free, and that's a noble gesture, the quality is far too low and the nature of the broken control schema renders this unrecommendable.3 found this helpful

Игра "Cell" — необычный симулятор выживания в микромире. Игрок управляет клеткой, развивает её, собирает ресурсы и борется с врагами. Геймплей захватывающий: сочетание стратегии и научной фантастики. Графика минималистичная, но атмосферная. Звуковые эффекты и музыка усиливают напряжение. Однако сложность управления может отпугнуть новичков.
