A mysterious enemy has assembled a robot army and taken over a peaceful world. The fate of the planet now rests in the hands of a group of creepy crawlies led by ‘Cheeky Beetle’ a shy and unproven beetle superhero. These unlikely heroes must collect all the robot power-cells scattered around 12 different locations in order to slow down the enemy long enough to give the rest of the planet time to organize a resistance.
Take control of Cheeky Beetle the worlds most modest and secret superhero. Move him around mazes in 12 different locations collecting the power-cells used to power the evil robot army. You’ll need to use quick timing and jumps to avoid enemy mechanized robots and even friendly creepy crawlies who want you to prove yourself worthy enough to lead them. Collect power-ups including extra life, extra jump, speed-up, invincibility, pass-through, and enemy slowdown to give to yourself an advantage. Avoid pick-ups such as enemy speed-up, enemy invincibility, and player slow down that will help the enemy. Avoid and even jump over obstacles that fall from the sky or appear from the ground aiding or hampering your movements. Computer controlled towers on each level will shoot at the enemy giving that extra help and with 5 difficulty settings you’ll need it!

I enjoyed getting up to level 7 with a replay or two. Normal is a good challenge and not too fast once you know how to play. The maps are challenging, especially when paths get blocked and you have to rethink your strategy. The best thing to do is try to grab as many tokens as possible to change the enemy to green, then you can chase them instead of them chasing you. Once you are down to a few creatures then you can take your time. Cute scenery and a nice little story, with some funny moments too as the bugs finally work up to tackling THE ROBOTS.3 found this helpful
A fun little, family friendly, game bringing a new twist to the old Pac Man formula. Only played the first few levels so far. The only bugs I've encountered so far are the ones I'm supposed to (and they've agreed to help me save the world from evil robots so its all good!) and for a game created by a single person, and your first game at that, you've done a pretty good job. Had fun playing this game. Simple mechanics but I just had to play all 12 levels. Easy to get in to, no complicated instructions. Suitable for all ages. Nice consistent artwork. Can easily replay different levels and change difficulty level when you're feeling more confident.1 found this helpful
This is a fast action, old school, arcade game of the Pac-Man genre. The story line and graphic style are child friendly ~ yes, there are gun toting robots, but they're defeated by cutesy creepy crawlies and the eponymous Cheeky Beetle.1 found this helpful
